Established in 2000.

TPS Photography has been a staple of the community since 2000. Chris Garner is the owner and primary photographer. Chris graduated from UNC-​Asheville in 1999 and worked for a short time at the Pittsburgh Tribune-​Review in Pittsburgh, PA before following the calling of an entrepreneur. Chris’ passion for preserving memories through the medium of photography is evident in each one of his portraits.

— Adopted on September 27, 1977 by Gary and Brenda Garner of Morganton, NC

— Moved with family to Cleveland, TN in 1982

— Moved back to Morganton in 1984

— Attended Mountain View Elementary School and Oak Hill Junior High School

— Graduated from Freedom High School in 1995

— Worked at the Asheville Citizen-​Times and the UNCA Blue Banner in college

— Graduated from UNC-​Asheville in 1999

— Worked at the Pittsburgh Tribune-​Review from 1999 – 2000

— Started TPS Photography in May, 2000
