Sunlight Laundromat

No attendant and over-​flowing garbage can on a Sunday. Considering the floor and machines were semi-​clean, someone at least cleaned yesterday; but an empty garbage would have been nice. All of the machines are working, a rare thing in the world of laundromats. Parking spots are small, so many cars were taking 2 spots. Not the laundromat’s fault, but you will have a hard time finding a spot for an oversized vehicle. Between a bakery and Mercado that sells plenty of laundry soaps, for when you forgot yours. No bathroom, No WiFi — Maybe when the owner is here only?

Large selection of both speed queen front loaders in all three sizes along with older top loaders.
Location has available parking in the front for at least 20 vehicles, so I didn’t have any trouble finding a spot.
Quarter changer at the rear so you don’t need to bring your own.
The time went quickly chatting with another customer.

Great place for laundry! Huge machines and low prices! The owners are super nice and help with any problem. They even have wifi which makes passing the time more interesting! This is the best place in Morgan Hill to do laundry!

OMG…1^st — SPIDER INFESTED!!! I used this place for years but after the spiders started to infest the place and the owner didn’t care to clean it… I said forget it. 2^nd– I lost $ 10 two separate times on the large washers. I called the owners number and told him. He told me he would pay me back but never specified when. Then one random day he called out of the blue and asked if I could come down. I was at work and not able. I thought I could catch up with him later. since we kind of knew each other as we have had in person conversations when he would come in the laundromat. One morning he came in and I asked him if he could return my money. He said that it was too long ago that I lost my money and used the comparison that retail stores have a time limit on returns so he wasn’t going to. He argued with me and wouldn’t stop talking. He’s a little hard to understand as his homeland is India. I told him that wasn’t right but whatever. He kept on going on and on and finally gave me $ 10.00. Now I ask, was it worth losing a customer?
I started going to Sammy Suds around the corner. It’s way better and even cheaper. They have an attendant, TV, sink, seats, and best of all, no freakin’ spiders hanging over your head or an owner that does not value his customers.

Ive been using this place for about 6 months now nd I perfer it over others. Im from hollister nd every friday I take the 30min drive to wash my clothes. Im an earlybird so I love that it opens at 5:30a so I can do my laundry by 6 nd its right next to the best bakery in town thats always open as well for a nice morning coffee. The machines all work nd cheap. Good experience

Small in space but big on help. This laundromat has a gentleman here to maintain and help the customers. He has a big smile on his face and very happy to help you. A hidden gem

The gentleman working was extremely helpful and friendly, and the washers/​dryers did an excellent job without costing too much of my time or money. Highly recommended!

Traveling and needed to do laundry. Unilocal suggested this location. Based on the reviews I gave it a try. This is my second visit and the facility is as advertised. Good choice of machine sizes. The machines are in working order. Owner is very supportive and takes care of the customers and facility. Change machine and soap dispenser is available.

Great washing machines .work really well anytime we have problems the guy in charge is always helpful.

Pretty clean, the machines work well, and I did 7 loads (⁶⁄₁ wash and 3 dryers) for $ 12 total, not too bad. The owner was nice, kept telling me to call if there were any problems. Could have done without the 80s music, but that’s personal preference. I lived through it, don’t care to relive it, hah!

I just moved to Morgan Hill 2 months ago decided to try this laundromat, owner is very nice. I’ve seen him come regularly to clean. I recommend this laundromat to people in the neighborhood.

The parking is a bit tight here, but it’s the better of the two laundromats in town. This location has plenty of lower priced machines as well as a few more expensive models, and a wall of driers that work very well. The place was as clean as you could hope for in a public service industry, and the people in the area were friendly.
