Ive been a professional wakeboarder for 6 years and have been teaching lessons for the past 10 years. South Bay Wakeboard Academy and Nor Cal Wakeboard Camps are where I spend most of my time. I enjoy every day on the water and look forward to teaching and riding with you. Come out and join our friendly and knowledgeable staff and take your riding to the next level.

My lesson with South Bay Wakeboard Academy was awesome. They have a fully stocked boat with all the 2010 gear. The instructor, Derek, is very helpful and makes it very easy to understand technique. It was only my 3rd time riding a wakeboard and Derek taught me how to improve my riding and even learned a few tricks. I can’t wait to get back out on the water.

SBWA has made me a better wakeboarder! Derek’s patience and guidance has made me want to come back and learn more and more tricks and grabs!
Every time that I go out on the lake with SBWA I have a great time!!!
The best thing about the Academy is that you do not need any equipment, they have professional Gator boards and bindings for all shapes and sizes!
And, even if you have never wakeboarded Derek will get you up and having a great time before you can say, «Wasabi ! »
