The hygenist is fantastic.

Best dental care in the area! Dr. Reber is really welcoming and take his time thoroughly. Most comfortable experience imaginable, an office that makes you feel at home. Receptionist are very welcoming, and have warm personalities. All employees seem to love their job and love to help you with all your needs. Not to mention the office is spotless, clean and waiting room is very comfortable. I am always surprised due to such a pain free, comfortable, quick and enjoyable experience.
I would write a million reviews for this wonderful staff if I could!

Been going here for 6 years, The 2 chicken heads at the counter try to take your money and every time the doctor works on you your mouth it’s sore as hell. Ever since they change from Cochrane Dental its been horrible! ALL ABOUT MONEY ! They use all your funds without you knowing. I took my whole family out! Don’t waste your $ here

I went to my appointment and of course it met my (high) expectations. Staff are wonderful, office is lovely and clean. State of the art equipment. After getting a chance to thank Dr. Reber in person, we got down to dental business. We did a couple X-​rays and went over my dental history. He did an initial exam and his preliminary diagnosis of my problem seems spot on. Seems there are a few problems with an old filling and a bridge that needs replacing (it lasted 25 years!). I have to go back for a more comprehensive exam and a cleaning. Will keep updating as I go!

I found Serenity on Unilocal,& based on its reviews, I made a new patient appt, which I had 2 days ago (June 12, 2015).
In Summary:
Serenity (Dr. Mark Reber & all of the staff) is undoubtedly the best dental office (by far, because of the Doctor and staff) that I have been to.
Furthermore, I consider myself to have quite a bit of experience & knowledge about medical providers in general. Based on this, I strongly believe that the standards of Serenity exceed, by a large margin, that of the large majority of health care provider clinics.
A. All of the staff & Dr. Mark Reber:
Everybody was very bright & cheerful & seemed to genuinely enjoy working there.
1. Receptionists (Sorry, I don’t remember your names). They were so welcoming, nice, & accommodating. They happily spent time finding appts that I fit my schedule.
2. Dr. Mark Reber
a. He was so friendly & down-​to-​earth (genuinely).
b. He treated me with utmost kindness and respect.
c. He encouraged me to summarize why I scheduled the dental appt.
d. He also reviewed the detailed new patient questionnaire that I filled out prior to the appt.
e. Before he started his exam & procedures, he explained to me what he was going to do.
f. After he examined my teeth & gums (including using a small camera) & after I had X-​rays done, he reviewed my history, his exam, & the X-​rays to formulate his initial impressions.
He shared his impressions with me very well (while he was explaining them to me, he showed me relevant photographs & X-​rays of my teeth gums. He also explained everything in a way that was easy to understand for someone who doesn’t have a dental background.)
g. Then, he shared each of his abnormal findings, the current status of each, & the potential risks of each related to not having it treated (including now & as time goes on).
h. After this, & making sure I understood, he specifically informed me that one aspect of Doctor-​Patient care is that he wants his patients to be as informed as possible, & then he would like his patients to decide what they consider favorable, regarding potential benefits & risks of having each procedure done.
i. Thus, we collaboratively decided on a dental treatment plan. We strongly agreed that addressing problems with the health of my teeth & gums was definitely higher priority (i.e., needs to be addressed before) than any cosmetic procedure.
Regarding points f., g., & h. above: This is UNCOMMON among health care providers. Many doctors & other health care providers would benefit greatly from following Dr. Reber’s example.
3. Breanna (Dr. Reber’s assistant — Sorry, I don’t know your official title)
a. One of the first things she let me know was that, «You’re in complete control.»
b. She encouraged me to let her or Dr. Reber know if anything was painful or if I was uncomfortable in any way.
c. This was so helpful because I think that the crux of our anxiety stems from feeling little to no control.
4. (Sorry, I don’t remember your name nor your official title) The lady who performed my deep cleaning. She was outstanding because:
a. She also emphasized to me that she wanted to know if I was uncomfortable or in any kind of pain.
b. Before she started, she explained what she was going to do, & during the procedure, she continued to share what she was doing & what she was observing (& its possible implications) regarding my teeth & gums.
c. The deep cleaning she provided was far superior than any other I have had. This was obvious to me based on how meticulous her cleaning was, how astute her observations of my teeth & gum were, & how thoughtful & detailed her impressions were based on her observations in the context of my dental history.
B. The clinic environment:
Since Unilocal limits the number of characters in a review, I am unable to fully describe the positive impact of the environment, but, by far, the most positive and influential factor is that all of the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy working and they were all so warm, friendly, & respectful. This was the biggest contributor to the very relaxed and pleasant emotional tone of the clinic.
They have netflix and wireless headphones.
AN IMPORTANT POSITIVE NOTE REGARDING DR. MARK REBER:
My experience with Dr. Mark Reber strongly gives me the impression that, far & away, his top priority is delivering excellent patient care, which includes collaborating with patients & sharing his impressions & recommendations, based on what he thinks would benefit the patient the most (not on financial factors). My experience with other dentists has made me wonder about those other dentists’ financial motivations.

A friend of mine recommended I go here for an emergency, I am so glad I did. I had my cracked tooth and cavity fixed at another dentist in Morgan Hill the week before, but was still in extreme pain. I was told by that dentist’s receptionist that I needed a root canal ($ 3,000 for the root canal and crown) and they couldn’t help me anymore. I called Serenity Dental Friday night and left a message. Stephanie called me back at 7:45am on Saturday and they fit me in at 9am and were so kind, professional and helpful. Dr. Lee examined me and adjusted my bite. It immediately gave me relief. No root canal, no crown, no tooth resorption, just a simple adjustment and filing off the jagged edge left by other dentist. Now 5 days later I am able to eat and pain free. I had been going to my prior dentist for 16 years and was so disappointed with his care (or lack thereof). Please try Serenity Dental office out! It was such a great experience and that is hard to find. The cost is very reasonable and they offer payment plans. Thank you Dr. Lee, Stephanie, Jose and staff for everything, you saved my life!

my son has a serious needle phobia and he had to get two cavities filled on two sides of his mouth. Dr. Reber was patient and kind, and was able to work with his phobia where no one else has ever been able to do. My son is 14. If you are a person who is afraid of dentistry, Dr. Reber has a quality that is very calming and reassuring. I like him and will continue to use him.

My favorite dentist in morgan hill or anywhere. The staff is exceptionally nice, they make your options very clear, including whether procedures are necessary or optional, and how much they will cost, including exactly what your insurance will pay.
When you do decide to get a procedure done they numb the area properly beforehand, and then you get to watch netflix for the whole time! I actually wish it took a little longer to get a filling so I could finish that James Bond movie during work…

I have been a client of Dr Reber’s for 9 years and I am so happy I found him again after months of searching online! Although it’s too bad he left the Salinas office, I will not hesitate driving an hour to see him. I am excited to schedule my 1^st appointment at his new location!

I am definitely the kind of person who always hated the dentist! With a lack of money (insurance coverage) and bad experiences in my past, I put off going for way too long!
Of course, it took a cracked tooth for me to finally get there. I received a flyer in the mail about Serenity and decided to check out there website. It was a Saturday night then the pain really started and I wouldn’t be able to see anyone until Monday. I received a call from Serenity early Monday morning telling me to come in that morning. That was great. What a relief!
Everyone is just so pleasant and nice in this office. As soon as you walk through the door, to waiting, to being escorted to a room, to the dentist himself, they ALL make you feel welcome, comfortable, and at ease.
Their methods and practices are very modern and they make sure that you feel no pain and little discomfort during procedures.
I have a considerable amount of work that will be needed in my mouth and everyone here makes it a pleasure to go to the dentist! When I am done with what I need, I am sure they will all start to feel like family!

Doctor Reber is the epitome of professionalism. He combines dental expertise, medical knowledge, and deep rooted physiology expertise with an affable and pleasant personality.

Doctor Reber’s expertise, knowledge and manner inspired confidence that alleviated my natural trepidation and fears which resulted in Serenity. He explained, step-​by-​step the processes that were planned and details that we were going through so I could understand them and so I could actually participate and assist with my treatment. That in itself went a long way in building my trust.
Even the pain from the initial injection that subsequently minimizes the effect of drilling is gone. Dr Reber now has a device called a «dental vibrator» that makes the pain disappear.
I live in Monterey County and I feel that driving the extra mile is well worth the extra care I receive. I would and have recommended Dr Reber to my friends and family.

I have been with my dentist for over 12+ years but at the recommendation of my sister I tried this office and I’m happy I did; I’ve found my new dental office. The office is very pleasant, but more importantly the staff and dentist are excellent.
I gave this office 5 stars for the following reasons:
1. Very convenient location and plenty of parking.
2. Very nice atmosphere and clean office; front desk staff was pleasant and offered bottled water and treats while I waited.
3. The office has all of the current technology (pictures, x-​rays, etc). so that you can see your problem areas and have a conversation about your dental issues and needs.
4. Friendly staff. I loved my hygienist Zoreh Sadri and will continue to see her. She was friendly, clean, efficient, and explained everything she was doing and why.
5. Being able to watch a show while getting my dental work done was a new experience for me but I loved it!
6. The Dentist, Mark, was very thorough and reviewed all the options with me including the financial costs and didn’t apply any pressure tactics.
