Page Welton – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Very disappointing experience with Page Welton.
We contacted Ms Welton after reading her ads in which she promotes her expertise, experience, and professionalism. We then met with her to discuss our needs and goals regarding the purchase of a home in Morgan Hill.
After our initial meeting, Ms Welton made an appointment with me in advance to see some homes. Shortly before the appointed time, she passed me off to one of her associates, whom I never met. Ms. Welton had her associate show me some run down fixer-​uppers — and not even in the location where we specifically told Ms. Welton that we wanted to live.
Then, during a subsequent telephone conversation with Ms Welton, she tried to «up-​sell» us to a home well out of our price range.
Several days after that conversation, I found a home on the MLS and then contacted Ms Welton to make arrangements to see the house. Later that day, Ms Welton met me there and told me that she only had 15 minutes to show me the house. After rushing through the property, Ms Welton then told me to go back when there was an open house. She told me that she would find out more about the house and call me, but she never did.
We tried many times to contact Ms. Welton, but she did not have the courtesy or professionalism to return any of our email and phone messages.
After not hearing from Ms. Welton for some time, we realized that she had very little interest in helping us buy this house — or any house for that matter. In fact, it was our distinct feeling that Ms Welton had very little interest in helping us at all.
Perhaps if our budget were in the million dollar range, our experience with Ms Welton would have been quite different.
Most certainly, Ms Welton did us a favor by being so rude and dismissive — as we now have a truly professional realtor who is courteous and polite and happy to work with us to find our next home.
