They only take cash, some kid ordered 6 dozen donuts and then said he didn’t have cash. He and some friends left in a car laughing. On large orders they need to ask if they have enough money to pay for their order. I come here often but Friday is a day I’m staying away from.

Yeah, so we just got some bagel sandwiches from here and found a pincher bug in the sandwich. So close to eating it. =\ here’s a pic:

Best doughnuts in Morgan Hill! I have been going here since I was little and the doughnuts still taste just as amazing and delicious. This place is like a flashback to the 1950’s, nothing has been remodeled since. Cash only!

Came here yesterday for some donuts with my morning coffee. The place was clean with a 1940s diner vibe going on(kinda felt like I stepped back in time… love it). The workers there were all nice and polite. I got a maple donut with sprinkles for my son, a glazed donut for my husband, and an apple fritter for myself. .. . All for about $ 4 and something. The donuts were good. They were fresh and didn’t have that old oil smell like some donut places I’ve been to. My son liked his sprinkle donut, of course. I tasted the glazed donut and thought it was good but nothing special. The apple fritter was delicious! Crispy and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Perfect apple to dough ratio. It’s not too thick or too thin. It’s just, to me, how an apple fritter should be. At $ 2 each, It is worth coming back for more. FYI: The shop takes cash only.

Not bad. Unassuming but coffee was decent and I liked my donut. I would stay away from the sandwiches.

I work in the same shopping center and come here in the mornings for coffee and a apple turnover. The coffee is always delicious, personally I think it’s way better than Starbucks(and literally half the price) they have half and half which I appreciate because there’s a doughnut shop closer to my house that only has powdered creamer. Yuck! My turnover is always crispy and soft on the inside with the perfect amount of apples to crust ratio. I always have a stash of a few dollars in my car that I reserve just for O’Henrys.

We live right around the corner from this classic family owned diner. The burgers and amazing, the donuts are slightly more sweet than I’m used to but what else do you expect from a donut. I highly recommend this mom and pop.

Very friendly quick service. There was a long line so I took that as a good sign. They seem to know their regulars and remember their orders. I got a chocolate bar and it was one of the best I’ve had. Crisp outside, soft and fluffy inside. My daughter devoured her sprinkle donut before we even got home. I want to come back and try a burger.

I love donuts and this place is my go to shop in Morgan Hill. Not a huge variety, but they have all my favorites and enough sprinkle options for the kids. Quality has always been great! Not greasy, not too dense, just right. One time they actually wouldn’t sell me a donut that was in the case because they meant to throw the batch of old fashioned’s away, apparently it wasn’t up to standards that day. As much as I wanted that donut I loved the fact that they wouldn’t sell it to me.

First time. On a road trip and decided to stop. We weren’t disappointed. We could tell by the crowd that it was a popular place. However the service was quick and friendly. The donuts were fantastic! Be sure to grab a dozen donut holes(only $ 1.80), they are not to be missed. We will be back!

This is the best donut place in all of Morgan Hill! All their donuts are amazing! My mom and I especially love the apple fritter! We recommend this place to any and everyone!

I picked up a dozen of these for my husband, and the people were super nice. I didn’t eat any of the donuts, but my husband said they were surprisingly good. They seemed to have a good selection, but just old-fashioned at the time I came(late on a Saturday morning). My husband doesn’t like the old-fashioned ones, so for him to say they were surprisingly good is a big compliment. We will come back with the kids to try ice cream some evening.

These donuts are what you want and more! Mother’s Day and the only thing I asked for was a good donut. Checked Unilocal and headed for O’Henry’s in Morgan Hill. We were not disappointed! For less than $ 5, we had delicious fresh donuts that border on gourmet. We split an apple fritter that was full of delicious chopped apple with noticeably(in a good way) vanilla glaze, just the right amount of crunch. Hubby had a chocolate frosted, raised donut which was light and a heavenly yeasty taste. I had the plain old fashioned donut which was cooked to perfection. Lightly crunchy on the outside, perfect balance of moist on the inside and no greasy taste. The reviews for the burgers and fries on this place are tempting us to come back again just to try them. Understandably, they are a successful small business. Stop and get cash before you step into this clean, bright 50’s diner appearing gem, as they only accept cash. Thank you Unilocal for helping us to find the perfect donut shop. We travel a lot in our motor home. Each time, we check Unilocal for good places and rarely disagree with the comments!

Every so often … you just want a chocolate donut. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but it ought to be fluffy and chocolatey and delicious enough to justify having a damn donut for breakfast. And yeah, you can get it from Safeway, but for an extra $ 0.34, you can have a fluffy and fresh one from this adorable mom and pop place down the street! Or maybe you want a cheeseburger! Again, it doesn’t have to be fancy. It ought to have meat and cheese and maybe a bun. But it doesn’t need to be a gourmet burger and you’re not looking for avocados or mushrooms or duck liver paste, but a plain charbroiled and delicious cheeseburger with classic fixings like tomatoes and pickles. And more pickles. And extra pickles. But you can see what my priorities are. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, and will bring your burger right to your table. Good service, and very willing to make a recommendation. They won’t even judge you if you get a donut … and THEN a burger … and then a coffee … at 3:15p in the afternoon. It kind of feels weird getting burgers in a donut shop, but what a great way to indulge your cravings with two very quintessential American food items. I guess it could be even more quintessentially American if they sold baseballs and apple pies, but they have apple fritters, which is like the same, but even better. Good honest food from good honest people.

The donuts are awesome! I’ve tried a few varieties, but the old fashioned are my favorite. I’ve also really enjoyed the filled croissants. Everything is fresh and delicious! We’ve come in twice for lunch. burgers at a doughnut shop? It sounds strange, but after reading other Unilocal reviews we decided to give it a go and were really surprised with how great the food tasted. The fries are yummy and everything is very reasonably priced. Cash only!

By nature and doctrines I am addicted to the habit of discovering choice places wherein to feed — O. Henry The Yin and Yang Part I I’ll start with lightness. A no frills review of a no frills establishment. Donuts, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches, which may include the best burger in Morgan Hill, can be found at O Henry’s. Plus they carry Pepsi refillable soda which I prefer. My last visit was a perfectly grilled Bacon Cheeseburger that was as good if not better than anything over at Five Guys, In N Out and certainly better than it’s shopping center neighbor McDonald’s. Tasty fries too and they have a variety of combos from $ 6 — $ 9 dollars(depending on size of soda, fries, addition of bacon, etc.). Service is always very friendly and their is a 50’s style counter to sit on and assorted tables. These seats are usually filled by locals but don’t worry, they don’t bite(usually). Don’t get a fast food burger when in Morgan Hill. Come here plus a donut is better than soft serve ice cream anyway :) Mmmm… donuts…

I came here around 1:30 to grab lunch to-go. They had run out of ham and cheese croissants(I guess that’s something I have to stop by in the morning for), so I went with the cheeseburger and fries. I had a hard time believing or understanding what other Unilocalers were saying about how their fries are fried in the same oil as the donuts, until I actually smelled them. They were very aromatic when they came out, not to mention fresh and hot – not bad at all. As for the burger, it was delicious! It’s pretty much your classic cheeseburger: bun, patty, cheese, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and pickles. YUM. I loved that the bun was toasted, and that the patty was cooked perfectly. This place embodies the old diner look and feel right down to the pre-credit card and cash only era, so don’t forget to bring cash!
