Description

Specialties

Morgan Hill Speech specializes in a multisensory approach that includes whole-body integration, play, and music-based pediatric speech therapy. We use a variety of tools to help keep the kids moving and motivated to maximize their success during their treatment sessions. We also specialize in myofunctional disorders!

We use music as much as possible. Music and language have many shared neural resources. Music can serve as an amazing tool to tap into the neural networks that serve language learning. A variety of instruments and keyboarding can be used therapeutically to address many types of language and speech goals.

Children learn best through play and whole-body movements; therefore, therapy is conducted around play sequences that help the child learn in a natural and loving environment.

History

Established in 2007.

Morgan Hill Speech and Myofunctional Therapy started out as Lundy Speech and Language, which was established 2007. It was first established as a home therapy practice. The practice grew and needed an office space to accomodate more children. In the beginning of 2013, the business was incorporated and the name was changed. The decision to change the name came from the desire to include myofunctional therapy in the name, which is an integral piece to the practice.
