Legit place to have some cheap games of bowling. Good drinks, easy to get a lane, friendly staff. Definitely will come here again

This is probably my favorite bowling alley in Morgan Hill. Nay. IN THE WORLD. Myself, dingus and ballbag came, we bowled, and we conquered! The beer flowed and the pins fell!

Cheap bowling on the weekend if you plan on playing 2+ games it is very reasonable. Worth the drive from San Jose. 2 thumbs up.

This place is great for a family night! Or birthday! It does get a little crowed after 7pm but if you get there early enough you have your choice of lanes. The bar that is attached it perfect for getting drinks while you bowl. The restaurant that’s attached it great as well. I ordered the Greek chicken salad it’s HUGE and really good! Prices are cheap for bowling around here. Will defiantly always come back here when we want to bowl!

Since i practically live here i guess I should write a review.
We love it! We bowl multiple leagues here, participate in tournaments and have had my son’s bday parties here. Staff is attentive. Jessi is a hard worker and great setting up events and great with the youth bowlers. Oscar is professional and should be the next GM, SO YOU CANT LEAVE FOR SCHOOL OSCAR! LOL! Oren is the best mechanic and very reliable!
i can go on and on… So all in all, great job MHB!

This place is awesome! The environment is great, the staff is friendly. The restaurant food is great. My family and I go here often. The kids always have a great time. It’s so big! There’s that small arcade the my kids enjoy playing at.
Overall the place is great, its neat, it’s clean.

So much fun. We had a large group come. We called the day before, we got all set up, and came in with everything ready to go. Very inexpensive. We had a great time. The automatic bumpers are pretty cool!

I bowled my highest game ever at Morgan Hill Bowl. Good drinks, fast service, clean and well maintained alleys, not too busy. My family and I will return!

We had my son’s birthday here and the host was wonderful! They were super organized and friendly from the moment I went in to make the reservation to the day of the party. The time was perfect for a small kids party (11 – 1) and the kids loved the pizza. The coins to the arcade at the end of the party was another great touch. I would definitely have another party here.

Great place to play bowling and drink beer best part is it’s in Morgan Hill and I like San Jose you don’t have to go 25 feet from the door to smoke

I just LOVE bowling at Morgan Hill Bowl. The staff is helpful and cheerful and the environment is positively fun. I travel from Watsonville to bowl league there and the commute is easy and relaxing; driving through Mt. Madonna. The restaurant food quality is great and I have always had a delicious meal there. I will continue to bowl «over the hill» and thank the staff for making my visits entertaining and fun.

32 lanes total? That’s huge for MH! We enjoy coming here specially with the kids. Try to find out when they’re having discount specials because it can add up quick when u have a big party… shoe rent, the lanes, and plus snacks.

My family loves coming here. My boyfriend has made it a habbit to stop every Monday on his way home from work for $ 3 dollar games and cheap beer. Keep it up MHB Team! You make my family so happy!

Wish I could rate higher, but the girl at the front was so disinterested and rude my experience was tarnished.
Lucky for them they don’t yet have competition in Morgan Hill. It’s a good opportunity for someone to recognize the importance of customer service, and to help share that culture with the employees.
Still, shoes and a game of bowling cost less than $ 10 each and it kept us entertained for over an hour.

Me and My girlfriend decided to take my kids bowling and we happened to be in the Morgan hill area so we tried Morgan Hill Bowling. The place is a little outdated but I don’t really mind the retro feel to it. Unfortunately they had one kid working the counter who was overwhelmed with a lot of customers. When we finally got our lane and started to bowl the machine didn’t work and we kept getting stalled and having to wait for someone to manually reset the darn thing. it broke down at least 5 times and every time I had to wait for the poor guy behind the counter who still overwhelmed with customers to get someone to attend to us. As I waited I noticed one of the employees and asked for help. He didn’t even acknowledge my conversation just walked over to the lane and pushed a few buttons and walked away without saying a word, mind you he didn’t fix anything!!! At this point I was irritated beyond belief, and was ready to throw this disrespectful middle school looking snot nose waste of space down the lane who clearly walks around with no clue why he is there. My girlfriend went over to the counter yet again and after waiting for yet another 15 minutes they finally moved us to another lane which actually worked.
The only reason this establishment is getting two stars is I felt for the kid behind the counter who was polite and really tried to help and the Unilocal check in offer of a free game which was a nice consolation reward after this dismal experience.

Love coming here for fun family time. and the cocktails! Highly recommend the «Fishbowl»!

MY FAVORITE PLACE IN TOWN. I wasn’t much of a bowler until I moved here (i don’t know anyone in town) and my game has gotten so much stronger since just practicing and hanging out. Their staff is great, except for the older lady who is always SO SLOW with customer service even when I go with only two lanes at the time.
Sean in the shop is so helpful and enthusiastic about what he does. One of my friend’s got his bowling ball drilled by him and we had a great time talking with him.
It gets pretty hectic on weekends but it’s a great place to hang with friends and have some fun!

Fun place to hang out and bowl. A little outdated but all in all fun. The girl at the register was friendly and fast and knew what she was doing. The young man that took our shoes when we were done was also very friendly. Would come here again.
1 negative– a little hard to find. I drove all oven the parking lot without finding this place. Had to call and was told they’re behind the shops, which I hadn’t looked.

I usually do not leave 1 star reviews because I know how it can effect some businesses. With that said, this is a well deserved 1 star review.
I booked a birthday party here with 2 days notice because of an accident my soon to be 6 year old daughter had a week prior. She had broke her jaw in 3 places after jumping off the stage at dance practice. She had to have surgery to repair the damage, ended up having to have her jaw wired shut and was placed on a liquid diet for 6 – 8 weeks. My wife and I were heart broken for our little girl. We canceled our original plans of taking her to Disney Land, But still wanted her to celebrate her birthday with her friends.
I called Morgan Hill Bowl and explained how I would like to reserve a few lanes and instead of having a traditional cake and ice cream party (because of my daughters mouth being wired shut) we would like to bring in Jamba Juice for the guest so my daughter would have to watch her friends eat cake and ice cream, which is her favorite. The event coordinator who’s name i believe to be Jessica, said we normally do not allow any outside food or drink but given the situation they would allow it. So we booked!
On the day of the event I called Morgan Hill Bowl to confirm every thing was in order before we arrived. That is when Jessica told me there had been some miscommunication and she was under the impression we were bringing in 1 Jamba Juice for my daughter only. I reexplained our situation over and over again to Jessica hopping she would have a tad bit of sympathy for my daughter, and explained how i paid for the 30 Jamba Juices in advance and the party was 2 hours from now. Jessica with her heart of ice said, No outside food and beverage will be allowed in. After a few minutes of talking with her I knew it was going nowhere. I decided to hang up and try to find somewhere else to host the event.
I called 3 other bowling alleys, Gilroy, Bass Pro shop bowling alley, and Bowlmor on Thornwood ave in San Jose. I explained our situation to all of them. They all were happy to accommodate us with our Jamba Juices given our situation even though outside food and beverage was against there policy as well. The only problem was Gilroy and Bass Pro were booked and had no available lanes during our time slot. Bowlmor had some available lanes so we booked with them. EVERY OTHER bowling alley that i called showed some compassion for a little girl suffered an unfortunate accident. Shame on you Morgan Hill Bowl.
Now came the task of calling the parents of 25 children to inform them 1 hour before the Birthday party the Venue had changed to Bowlmor in SJ. After explaining to the parents why the venue had change from Morgan Hill Bowl to Bowlmor, A lot of the Parents had to cancel there RSVP but I totally understood given the last minute Venue change. 10 of the 25 RSVP children came to the party. My daughter still had a wonderful time and loved her party Thanks to Bowlmor.
In conclusion, Thank you to Gilroy Bowling, Bass Pro Shop Bowling Alley, and especially Bowlmor in SJ.
To Morgan Hill Bowl, Show a little bit of Compassion to your customers, especially children that had suffered traumatic injury.
