Very professional, I really liked the person they sent to investigate our house. Their no bullshit attitude is very refreshing. They did not try to talk us into anything, their answers were honest and to the point.

Mark come out to to evaluate the foundation of a house that I was purchasing. Suffice to say he saved me from a minimum $ 50,000 head ache. His work is very thorough and was very satisfied with his work and investigating all corners of the crawl space.
I learned to never trust the real estate agent, including my own agent, because they are there to make the sale. However, you need to have your own due diligence and I highly recommend Mark to give you an accurate and unbiased report.
Side note, yes you do have to pay to get get an estimate but you can be confident Mark is there to conduct a full evaluation of the condition of the property.

MG Constructors built a deck in our backyard, complete with step lighting. The deck looks great. Matt Hagerty went out of his way to make sure that we were extremely happy with the project, and the whole team at MG was very professional and honest. This is the second time I hired MG, as they did our foundation work many years ago. I would not hesitate to recommend MG Constructors to anyone looking for an excellent contracting company.

Gary Crow carried a thorough inspection of my home’s crawl space and french drain system, then patiently explained the findings to me. After I installed fans, he did an excellent job placing a vapor barrier in the crawl space, to address white fungus on the floor joists. I highly recommend MG Constructors!

$ 600 to ESTIMATE the work that needs to be done and that fee will not be put toward the work. Call someone else. ANYONE else. This is not typical and is a complete waste of money.

I had MG Constructors design and put in a de-​watering system to divert water from my foundation. I am very pleased with the work that they did. Ted and his crew were professional, easy to work with, and clearly knew what they were doing. They put everything back the way it was before the demolition (as much as humanly possible). It was obvious that they take pride in their work and go out of their way to satisfy their customer. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again if the need should arise.

Had MG in to do some foundation work on my home. The structural engineer, Matt, was easy to work with, the crew showed up earlier than expected (which was great) and they got the work done on time. Also had one part that they found didn’t actually need repairs and so they deducted it from the bill and I might not have ever known. Will definitely call them in the future for any foundation or structural needs

Mark provided me with a fair and honest bid for foundation repairs. He showed me a photo summary of the problems under the home and explained the options for repair with the risks and benefits of each choice. He completed the repairs to the foundation on time and within budget. I would never use anyone else for foundation or drainage issues.

I am very happy with MG Constructors. They worked on my property in an extremely timely fashion. I presented them with a report from a structural engineer and they were able to get the work done in the price range that was quoted by the structural engineer (within 10% because of permits and such). After the work was done, they provided pictures showing the work that they did. They did not try to sell me more work than was necessary unlike another company that I also contacted. They seem extremely experienced and qualified to do the work.

I used MG Constructors to repair a vertical crack in the foundation of a home I was selling. I was concerned that potential buyers would reject a home with a foundation issue. It was important to me that the company that completed the repairs be reputable and professional. Most importantly, that they issue a work repair report that buyers can clearly understand.
Mark performed the foundation crack repair and anchorage at a reasonable price within the short time period that was agreed upon. The true testament of their outstanding work was the ease by which buyers understood the report and confidently accepted that the problem was resolved. Many of the Buyer Agents recognized the strong reputation of MG Constructors and encouraged their clients that the foundation issue had been completed to code. This all led to the property selling quickly and above the asking price.
I was incredibly pleased with the professional service and quality work of MG Constructors and would confidently recommend them to others.

I know that contractors are flaky in general; but these guys are way beyond anything I’ve seen. My bid contact was Gary; a part owner in the company. You’d think he would care about the customers more than this. The sad part is that I hadn’t even given any money out yet. I can only imagine if I had accepted a bid and had paid already.
I wanted them to do some drainage work on my property. I had Gary come over (he came reasonably fast), but never issues a bid. I had to call a couple of times and we agreed that we had to get the county involved for permits before that. He asked to call him every week & remind him to contact the county since he «often forgets». I have no issue with that as long as I see progress, but I never did. It’s been over a year (4 – 5 months of me calling once a week to check for status). At the end of the time; they ended up telling me that the county had refused their permit. I ended up doing it myself and getting it in less time. I proceeded to call him so they could issue a bid on the work now that we had the right to do as planned, but that was another 2 – 3 months of calling once a week with promises to complete a bid in a timely manner.
At this point in time; it’s been over a year and I’ve given up on them. I liked them initially; since they did both eng. and construction work in one company; but in the end I really don’t want to fight to get things done; so it’s for the better. IMO; I’ve been overly generous in allowing them the chance to bid on my project.
