History

Established in 2006.

I started my tax preparation business by trying to help a friend deal with IRS issues, including past due returns, levies, and penalties. I was in appeals when I realized I had to be an Enrolled Agent to represent taxpayers before the IRS so studied and became an EA 3 – 4 months later. Since then, I’ve helped several people resolve tax problems, clean up tax messes, and legally reduce their tax burdens.

Mark is an Enrolled Agent which is a federally-​authorized tax practitioner who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals. «Enrolled» means to be licensed to practice before the IRS and only Enrolled Agents, attorneys, and CPA’s may represent taxpayers before the IRS. Enrolled Agents advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-​reporting requirements.

Mark is also a National Tax Practice Institute Fellow, an industry recognized designation for someone who is an expert in matters of taxation.

He is a Realtor with Intero Real Estate Services in Morgan Hill, has completed hundreds of transactions in 20 years experience, and specialized in residential real estate in the South County area. Mark also worked for General Electric Company in areas of finance, marketing, contracts, and manufacturing.
