~ I specialize in COLOR (paint, furniture, accessories, etc…) and the Psychological Effects it has on us in our homes. Color, is #1 most important design element. Color surrounds us everywhere and can effect us at an subconscious level. I’ve extended my Interior Design training to become a Certified Dewey Color Consultant (DCC). This is the only scientifically backed, color-​based, personality test available, and is equivalent to the Meyers-​Briggs psychology test.

History

Established in 2005.

Interior Design allows me to combine my background in Psychology and Graphic Art to help people love where they live. How people feel in their homes is very important to me. Thus… Interiology… Interior Design + Psychology

After working at an Interior Design firms, I decided that I wanted to have my own Interior Design Business, with the focus being uniquely based on the art & science of home comfort. I also wanted Color to be one of the main areas of expertise that I could offer to my clients, along with Interior Design.

I have enjoyed working with my clients tremendously, and have loved seeing how the impact of my services has improved their life and how they feel in their «new» home. Most of us want to have a home that we love to come home to. This is my goal for ALL of my clients, no matter how big or small their project is.

My Career:

I should have known this was the career I was destined for, when I kept rearranging my entire bedroom as a child. I have worked in the Design Industry since 1995, and have been an artist, my entire life, with various mediums. With my 11 year background in Psychology, and my desire to help others achieve the surroundings that will nurture and inspire them, I will honor your home, as if it were mine. The difference is that it will be completely about YOU! Thus no two homes will look similar in style or color.

Here’s a little personal info:

I love animals. I have 2 very goofy dogs and a very precocious, Meyers parrot. If you have a parrot you know how they can try to be the ruler of the roost (weighing in at barely 7oz). He does provide a lot of entertainment and seems to mimic my laugh at the most appropriate times.

Interests:

Making Arts & Crafts, Singing, Playing with my pets, Photography, Bike Riding, Water Sports, Reading, and Learning…
