Stopped in about 8:30 this morning, the place was busy! The manager Mary seemed to be the only one there, running back and forth. I wasn’t in a hurry so I took a seat. One of the other workers, a lady with purplish hair showed up and between the two of them they took care of business! Great job to you ladies!!!

The almond milk latte I ordered was good I would give that a better review. The reason for my 2 star review is mostly for the food. The employees were very sweet, but didn’t seem like they knew what was going on. I’m not sure if the menu recently changed, but they were confused with the prices of the food and also the ingredients that went into the meal. Especially my order the veggie scramble. This made me nervous because I could hear them talking as they were putting it together. It took a very long time and I’m not sure why it barely looked edible. My bfs bacon tasted like plastic and my fruit and scramble were bad. I’ll go back for the coffee but definitely not the food.

Really really bad customer service by the so called 20 something manager. She spent most the time on her phone, and acted annoyed she had to help me the other half the time. I could not believe the way she spoke to her staff. The vibe was all types of wrong, and to top off the bad experience the coffee was terrible! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere where they actually treat customers with respect, treat staff well, and can make a decent cup of coffee!

Really love this place. Being that I live pretty close to downtown, this is the most friendly café near by. Good coffee & happy faces, what more do you need in the morning?

Adorable downtown café that features a variety of offerings, whether coffee, sandwiches, light snacks, beer, or desserts. As the name implies, the place is decorated in a somewhat kitschy but nevertheless endearing retro-automobile theme. Service is friendly, and there’s a reasonable amount of space to spread out. There’s even live music on certain nights of the week. Not a bad community hangout.

I love this place. Often times my hubby and I will get dinner and then come here for dessert. I really enjoy the gelato. My favorite is the lemon but it’s a seasonal flavor so I’ve only been able to enjoy it a couple times. Second fav is strawberry fresca. It’s the perfect amount of creaminess with a natural strawberry taste-not your average super sweetened strawberry flavor. It also has chunks of frozen strawberry. I did order a sandwich here before as well and was impressed. I can’t remember what I ordered but I think it was Turkey on sourdough. It was delicious. But my favorite thing about this place is the amount of variety it has. There is something for everyone. Normally people call me picky but it’s because I don’t like the same old stuff. I love being able to look at their menu and just ponder what I would want. I know it’s silly but it’s what I like. I don’t like bacon but if you are a bacon lover they have a ton of bacon items. I would recommend especially for the gelato.

My kids and I walk here in the evenings for their gelato. Always so happy with it! Staff is funny and friendly I love we can talk and joke with them! They happily give us tasters of gelato before hand so that we can decide. It’s also nice that they rotate the flavor a so that it’s not always the same ones. Keeps us coming back. Sadly we have not tried anything else from there but really should.

I like the place. Great coffee and gelato. Good place to read the paper and have a treat after eating downtown. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is I feel like it needs a serious cleaning. It’s not bad but has a feeling of sticky. I will keep coming here for sure but some bleach and pinesol would be great on the floors and new tables.

Affagato was good, though the guy making it didn’t know what it was(it’s on the menu). I’m mostly writing this because I want the manager to know that one guy that works there belched very close to my face after telling me he just scarfed down hot wings. I burp all the time, but that was pretty nasty.

We ordered two sandwiches from a young man at the counter, a turkey melt and an egg salad sandwich. OVERTWENTY minutes later(I kid you not), we finally got to eat. So we thought. The cheese was not melted on the turkey melt, and it was so bland. And on the egg salad, there was nothing but eggs and bread. No mayo(it was dry) or anything else in it that was listed on their menu. So we took one bite and asked them to fix it. We waited another TEN minutes, and we still haven’t received our food back. At this point, we were just starving. We had been there for almost 45 minutes and still haven’t gotten to eat. The lady explained that he was new. They should really train their employees BEFORE having them serve customers! So we just asked for our money back and went somewhere else to eat.

Great coffee, many choices, a little on the pricey side. Food isn’t bad, the prices are decent. Staff is usually very friendly and helping in finding the right coffee for the right morning. Haven’t been down to check out the music but plan to in the near future.

Came after 6 pm, on a beautiful Sunday evening… They were still open. So nice to have businesses open in town, when out for a walk in the evening … On our way to the great little downtown«play area», The Bike Hub. This coffee shop has almond milk and other healthier snacks, then the average coffee shop.

This place is intimate so if you want to catch up with a friend this is it. They have a few sandwiches, lots of salads, gelato and pastries. There’s a wide selection of coffee and tea. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. My pulled pork sandwich was decent and filling. I also ordered an Italian soda which hit the spot on a warm afternoon. The interior is filled with automobile memorabilia and the like. There’s also a parking lot located not too far away. There are a few spots to sit outside as well. Also, the sign outside says GVA so you may pass it looking for a Grinds sign.

Stopped by yesterday to grab a mocha, beans and some gelato, bad move! 2 employees and I assume the owner were working behind the counter. I asked if they still sold beans(no bags in sight) she said to pick out flavor and she’d bag it up. Took a min, turned to tell her I’m ready and she had disappeared. No biggie, the owner(?) Was there, yakking the other kid’s ear off. Poor guy kept glancing at me but seemed scared to interrupt her, I waited and waited for her to take a breath so I could say excuse me but nope, she kept right talking while looking at me! Finally got tired(& I was tired after working all fricken day, starting from 0400) and walked out. So I went to Carmel Roasting instead, got BEANS and a great iced mocha! Tip to Grinds ownership. …STFU and help your customers!

I totally love this place… However I went in for coffee this morning around 7, and the place was open, but no one was to be found. I stayed for a few minutes and peeked my head around. Still no one. In the past I’ve had nothing but good experiences here! Food, coffee, ice cream, drink are all great!

After dinner in downtown Morgan Hill i was in the mood for some coffee. We found this corner shop in downtown Morgan Hill that has a lot to offer. .. maybe a lil too much! I walked in and was totally overwhelmed. .. signs for the skirt steak sandwich dinner special, gelato, brew bar, beer, wine, baked good, desserts, open mic on Wednesday(or was it Thursday?), car theme. .. WHOAH!!! I didn’t know what to look at! I ended up ordering what I came for. .. just coffee. .. actually a soy Mayan Mocha. Nothing too special about it. Workers were pretty friendly, but looked busy. I didnt notice how many people were in the shop since I was too busy looking at everything else. Based on the atmosphere and my coffee this spot seems like a cool place to hang out. I’ll need to come by when I have more time. I did notice they sell affogato which is gelato with espresso. Never had it, so I’ll have to stop by and try it out!

Cute café in Downtown Morgan Hill. The SO and I made a quick stop for a drink while lunch was being made across the street. Walk inside and the café is a little busy with a lot going on(in terms of decorations), but once you get past that, you’re good to go. They sell gelato, beer, and coffee here. I didn’t pay attention to much else so maybe I’m missing something. I ordered a nonfat iced mocha and it was pretty good! Parking: being in downtown, it’s street parking. or at least I didn’t see a parking lot.
