Custom Creations Photography

We had our wedding at Guglielmo Winery last year. My wife was very happy with Scott’s pictures and professionalism, which was the most important thing for me. As a man who has ZERO patience posing for pictures, Scott put me at ease by doing his job efficiently and happily and I got my 10,000 pictures taken as quickly as feasible and w/​o being overwhelmed and it was a key component to me being able to enjoy all the other parts of my wedding. I recommend Scott as highly as I can :)

Just had my wedding yesterday with scott and his wife as my photographer! They were amazing people! They captured every single minute of my wedding beautifully. They really knew the layout of my venue, where was a good place to take pictures and get good lighting, they were kind, patient, funny, and very accommodating to my fiancé and I. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Sorry, this review is long over due. I purchased an all inclusive wedding package that came with the photographer at Guglielmo Winery. When my husband and I got to our apt we had the chance to look at other wedding albums that Scott had created and they were great so we chose to stick with him. I had a couple of poses that I found off pinterest that were very cute and wanted to use in my wedding. Scott was realistic and told me some of these weren’t going to work and that was ok with me.
Scott knew where to take photos since he has worked there numerous times (great) but when it came down to it my husband and I were standing there like «ok what do we do ». When we got our photos my husband and I are doing the same pose in every picture. (what about the poses I gave him during our apt who knows). Was it my job to remember those poses or the photographers?
Scott did not have any romantic poses AT ALL !!! Also I wanted to take pictures in front of the waterfall and when I got our pictures back you can only see the side of it.
My second concern was the family photos. There are photos were there was obviously enough room for all of us to stand in a straight line and my brother was standing in the back ground and you cant see him. NOT COOL. I’m paying for professional photos. It is your job to make sure that these little things do not happen.
The only reason I remembered to do this review is because I received a second email from Scott asking me to give him 5 stars or to let him know why I couldn’t give him 5 stars.
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend Custom Creations for a wedding. A engagement shoot, maybe.

Scott is fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend him for your photography needs! Both my husband and I arranged our professional photo headshots with him. Scott was very accommodating with scheduling each of our appointments. When I went in for my appointment, he had everything ready to go and was very pleasant to work with. Within a few hours, Scott sent over the pictures via his website. Great experience in working with Scott and I will definitely be returning to Custom Creations for our future photography needs!!!

Scott was great! He was so generous with his services as he went above & beyond for my Dad’s cancer fundraiser. His professionalism & skill brought added legitimacy to my event. My husband and I knew right away when we met Scott at the bridal fair in San Jose that we wanted him to be our photographer for our wedding. He had such a great personality and was so welcoming! We didn’t feel the need to search or interview anyone else!
Before our wedding, Scott took our engagement photos which turned out amazing! We didn’t have any nice photos of the two of us (according to my grandmother) and she absolutely loved these! It was great to get to know him before the wedding.
We were married in August of this year at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club and it went perfectly! Not only was he a great photographer, he was a great support as well. At one point my husband’s boutonnière broke in half, and Scott knew exactly how to fix it! He listened to all of our family’s input (which was a LOT) and never lost his cool. He took pictures that I wanted, and made sure that I had water at all times. That to me is above and beyond what I expected from a photographer. He not only took the pictures that I wanted, but made sure that my mom and my husband’s mom had the pictures that they wanted as well. He knew that my Grandma and Grandpa could not be photographed together, so he was really good about keeping those photo moments separate. He asked the right questions and listened to my answers, which proved to make a perfect night!
He was professional, sweet, and paid attention to all the details. Before he left at the end of the night, he made sure we were both ok and we got all the shots that we wanted. How great is that? Also, before he left, he came back in and handed us the DVD of all our pictures. No waiting! We were able to look at all of our photos on our honeymoon — which was amazing!
I highly recommend Scott. He was professional, helpful, accommodating and never complained! We couldn’t have asked for a better person :]

I am so glad I was able to meet Scott at a bridal fair I went to on the Central Coast. He was so great to talk with and I am so glad he was the photographer we chose for our wedding at the Oakland California Mormon Temple as well as Seascape Beach Resort on Monterey Bay. Not only was he fun to work with, but he knew what he was doing! Our 16 nieces and nephews even smiled when he took photos!
Scott knew EXACTLY what he was doing and our pictures of our special day on August 9, 2013 turned out amazing! With so many photographers out there, it is hard to chose the right one! I HIGHLY recommend Scott from Custom Creations Photography for your special day!

My husband and I just got married the last weekend in June at Guglielmo Winery. Scott came with the package that we paid Guglielmo for, and I am so glad that we didn’t go with anyone else.
We had a consultation with him back around January and he came prepared with a timeline. It was really helpful that he was so familiar with the venue and how the timeline usually works. He covered every detail so that we didn’t have to think of anything.
During the wedding, he was amazing. He said that we could have whatever we wanted in terms of photography and that he was there to make our day the best it could be. Scott was everywhere and always snapping pictures. I was so impressed how aware of his surroundings he was. Not only was he taking pictures, but he was offering to help in any way he could. He was grabbing me my drink, doing little favors here and there, and just being EXTREMELY helpful.
We did a send off that night straight to the airport for our honeymoon so we didn’t get to grab the DVD from Scott, but it was ready to go and he handed it right to my mom to take home. That night he had already uploaded some of our best photos to Facebook for immediate viewing so we didn’t have to wait until we got back to see some great photos! As soon as we got back from our honeymoon we couldn’t wait to see the rest! They came out amazing, all the way from before the ceremony to our send off.
I absolutely recommend Scott’s photography services 100%! Thank you Scott for all of your incredible work and customer service!

I just had my wedding at Guglielmo Winery this last weekend in June2013. I purchased an all inclusive wedding package that came with the photographer whom i had never met before and was a little skeptical at first. Its always awkward for a bride to have a vendor who she hasnt met yet be such a big part of her special day.
I finally got to meet Scott at a Bridal event at the winery just a couple months before my wedding and he was the sweetest guy i had ever met. He was very understanding of the fact that my parents were divorced and might not want to be photographed together and was mindful not to put them close to each other. He told me not to worry about anything and that he would make sure i had the best pictures for my wedding.
On the day of the wedding, I was so relieved that Scott was there to do some crowd control. He never once yelled at anyone and was very polite to all my family and friends in attendance. He told me we can do as many poses as we wanted to «because we can». By the end of the night he handed me 2 DVDs with all the photos that he and his 2^nd photographer had taken (almost 1600 photos total). My husband and I were elated to see our photos on our wedding night and uploaded them immediately in our hotel room to share with our friends and family members that same evening.
The reason i am giving 5 stars is because my husband and I found out some bad news 1 month prior to our wedding which put us in a financial bind. The 2^nd photographer was an extra $ 500 and Scott worked with us on a payment plan so that we can still get the perks of 2 photographers and still make it affordable enough that it did not break the bank. He takes Paypal and was willing to give us some time and was not pushy like some vendors could be.
All in all our photos were AMAZING and the quality was EXCELLENT! The service was SPECTACULAR and i would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer! You cant go wrong. =)

Scott is a very talented photographer. His family portraits are absolutely amazing.
We have used Custom Creations Photography for our daughter’s dance and soccer team photos for 5 years. I realize that I don’t make the decision to use Custom Creations Photography for organized team photos, but I do make the decision to buy them or not. I have always been so pleased by the photos of my girls. In fact there have been dance costumes that have not been flattering and Scott has always been able to capture my child’s personality or the dance’s theme so well that I’ve even purchased pictures of costumes I did not like.
I would recommend Custom Creations Photography. Their family portraits capture so much, the faces, the feelings, the relationships, life. Their portraits capture life.

Scott did a wonderful job putting my kids at ease and capturing their true spirits and personalities. I picked up our prints last week and immediately put them in frames. I would recommend Scott and Cari to anyone looking for a professional photographer.

Scott and Cari are fantastic, so supportive of the community and so much fun to work with. They make it so easy and the results are always first rate, creative and exceed expectations.

Scott and Cari photographed our wedding. It was an all around awesome experience. They are professional and talented. We have been waiting to write a review until we got our album. We just picked it up and we are sooo impressed. I am a big fan of theirs and would recommend them. As good as it gets…
