History

Established in 1980.

Locally owned and operated our family business started out 25 years ago as an Electrical Contracting Company. As the knowledge, friendships & experience grew over the years we soon decided to broaden our horizons and become our own General Contractors. Our passion for construction and design, turning homeowners property into their dream space, grows everyday! CB Construction & Design also purchases homes all over the Bay Area and flips them, turning them into a master piece of pure perfection!

CB Construction is awesome! Here is an overview of the work that CB did for my condo:
— Replaced old light fixtures (front door and dining room)
— Took out fluorescent lighting in kitchen and created recessed lighting throughout
— Added recessed lighting in my living room
— Installed a fan in living room
— Installed a fan in second bedroom
— Replaced old fan/​light fixture in master bedroom
I couldn’t be happier with the work that CB Construction did. I worked with Jeff Hull and not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he also gave me his honest input. The work was completed efficiently and in a timely manner. This company made me feel completely confident in the work I contracted them to do as they gave my condo the makeover it needed!
I would definitely come back to them for future work and I highly recommend.

Surfed Unilocal to find a general contractor and CB Construction & Design popped up. I know they are knew to Unilocal w/​only (1) previous review, however, I spoke with Jeff (the owner) and he was knowledgeable, informative and most importantly NOT A BS’r. I wanted straight to the point/​get the job done right the first time kind of general contractor, and after the 10minutes on the phone with Jeff, I knew he
was the contractor I wanted.
I had the following jobs completed:
1) New plumbing throughout house
2) Removed Popcorn Ceiling/​Repainted entire interior of house
3) Removed Carpet and installed baseboards and laminate flooring throughout house & kitchen
4) Removed linoleum in guest bathroom and tiled the floor
5) Removed & Installed new sink/​vanities, light fixtures, & mirrors in bathrooms.
Completed all above work in a great. We setup dates for each project and I was informed as to how long each project would be.
Even greater incentives:
1) the team completed all projects on-​time and provided the extra manpower where needed (if needed) to ensure projects remained on schedule.
2) VERY well priced for the labor and work they were completing.
All the remaining projects I am looking to complete will be completed by Jeff and his team (below):
1) Remove & Install Windows throughout house
2) Refinish & paint exterior of house
3) Remove and Replace room
4) Replace and replace electrical throughout house
Thank you to CB Construction & Design. I appreciate your time, consideration, and efficiency in completing my projects. My house has gone from a fixer-​upper into live-​able headquarters.
