Big Kahuna Pools

Great service. Very responsive. Charged what he quoted and was pleasant. He also returned to clean our filters, as promised, and the pools has never looked better.

If I could give zero starts, I would. I contacted Joe and asked him for a quote. He said the quote was $ 110. He showed up and then called me and said he wanted more money because he didn’t understand the job needed when he quoted it. I told him the pool needed to be ready by Saturday because we were having guests and he assured me it would. After he finished, the pool looked worse than when he had started and was abusive when I called him out on it. Completely unprofessional and used profanity.
Please use someone else. I cannot tell you how ugly this experience was and how bad of a pool guy this person is. I am happy to share my experience more but I have never ever worked with any service provider who was this bad.
I did text Joe at midnight on a Saturday because I work late nights. I also texted two other people who responded when it was convenient for them. That is how technology works. You respond when convenient for you. You do not have to respond when you get the text.
Anyway, I never pressured Joe for a quote. He said $ 110. I wish I could post emails and texts on here. I never called him one name. Not even jerk. He said he wanted whatever he wanted and I said I will pay you because I believe in karma and you will get yours. That and I am hopeful you (a prospective future customer) will read this review and go to the next pool service. This guy is bad news and just an overall bad guy. Lots of better human beings.
And just because I paid $x for my house does not entitle someone to rip me off.
Anyway — you know the story. Do what you want from here… use him if you want bad service, rude behavior, want to be called names and then ripped off.

Timely, great service, reasonably priced. Joe, is a good guy. He has been great to us & our pool and spa are always in ready to jump in condition.
