Came for quick lunch and order 3 street tacos. $ 1.79 each taco. Kinda pricey. Carne Asada in the tacos were very dry. They do have good tasty salsa. I was very turned off with the cleanliness of the place. The floors has raw pieces of meat everywhere and counters looks like haven’t been clean in a while. Not coming back only because lack of sanitary conditions !

They’re okay. The meat itself is very tender and savory. Bonus points for the salsa bar, beans, grilled onions, chile asado, and nopales asados– ALLCOMPLIMENTARY. Minus points because they forgot my tacos and only brought out my date’s, and because the lady at the register doesn’t seem to understand english or spanish very well. But, they’re open late and have a great menu. Will come again.

Awesome tacos I try to stop by here maybe twice a week to pick up some tacos. Their quese tacos are top notch. Grilled onions are bomb, the employees are nice but they could smile a little more.

Been here numerous times and tried the tacos, burritos de asada and the tortas! It’s really good and the portions are enough to satisfy your appetite. The beans are just like any place but fair. Try the torta michoacana it’s my favorite one that I order all the time. The melted cheese and the guacamole is making my mouth water just thinking about it.

Best carne asada tacos I’ve tried in a very long time! Best place in town to eat asada tacos! Oh and they have cantaloupe juice! It was so good!

I wouldn’t call Tijuana Tacos(or any other taco shop in So Cal for that matter) an authentic taqueria experience because it would appear that regulations don’t allow it. Taquerias in Mexico &TJ specifically are typically in a cart or an open-air walk-in place. However, for being on this side of the border, this is as close to the experience as I’ve seen/experienced! Like: The Nopales & onions… make sure to ask for them! The frijoles — self serve… make sure to have them! The adobada — ask for it in a tostada Wish: The place had a make-over because it leaves the impression of being a bit unclean.

Really good Mexican Food. My favorite are their Specialty Tacos, somethings different and creative! Highly recommended. A bit busy during Friday and Saturday. Other than that, worth it!

One of my favorite places to get tacos. All of their menu is different from regular taco shops which is something that I really like. Their food is very flavorful and no matter what you get off the menu, expect one of the best plates. Definitely recommend.

The food is ok. My carne asada tacos were mostly fat, I was expecting more meat. Tacos are small. I liked the homemade tortillas. They didnt have a lots of salsas. maybe, cause I went late. I enjoy the nopales, and grilled onios. The place need a little cleaning

The food is delicious. The Quesataco . I’ve never been to Tijuana but it’s very similar to Rosarito and had the same flavor as the tacos there. So the authenticity is on point. The portions are appropriate for the price. They haven’t adjusted to the modern age of debit cards. They do charge .80 cents for using your debit card. Refills are full price, which In my opinion is ridiculous. Other than that I enjoyed it.

The food is good, very good and to me, what Mexican food should be. My Asada burritos was tasty. I wanted another one but was full. The beans… those are great. They also have a salsa cart with goodies.

Awesome place if you want authentic, delicious tacos. Reasonably priced, and made to order. My usual go-to place for tacos is the street taco truck in Santa Ana, but this place is at the top of my list when I’m in the Riverside area. Their tripas are crispy and cooked to perfection. Their salsa bar is huge with a variety of different sauces and even some complimentary soup. Service is really friendly and welcoming. As a regular, I know this place has never disappointed me. I love how they’re open late, and even then the service is on point! Everyone seems to be in a good mood over there.

First let me say this, I’ve had a lot of Tacos from MX, especially from TJ so all of my reviews on taco shops are based solely on how close and good these establishments are based on Tacos from MX. Let me say that so far NONE have ever tasted as good but Tijuana’s Tacos is pretty darn close. The basic tacos are okay, just your average taco shop taste. However once you step up to the«Taco Loco», your taste buds will be rewarded. It comes with Asada, Chorizo, guacamole Salsa, cilantro, onion and more. They also have Nopales on the side which usually taste good as well. With all of these flavors together I can tell you right now that it’s pretty dang close to MX tacos, the only thing I wished is they had the green onions with the bulb and also the tortillas aren’t as tasty, if they somehow got these it would be close to authentic! So overall it’s 4 stars for me, but only once you upgrade to the«Taco Loco». I’ve yet to try the other foods here so I can’t recommend these items, perhaps I will give them a try later. But I’m basing my review only on the tacos which I think taste great and having the beans and a coke just tops it off.

I went here for lunch with some co-workers today, and I got excited when I saw the l pastor spit behind the counter. I ordered 4 tacos: 1 carnitas, 1 lengua, 1 carne asada, and 1 al pastor. Nothing was anything to to write home about: the al pastor seemed to be overcooked, the lengua was chewy(not tender), and nothing else really stood out. They have a salsa bar there, complete with some pretty good marinated carrots, but none of the salsa’s I tried were anything special. The beans and soup was an interesting touch, but not enough to bring this place out of mediocrity. I’d give this place another try if someone else wanted it, but if it was like this experience, I would push for a Loco Burrito visit instead in the future.

So it’s not really like Tijuanas tacos lol but it’s kind of the best around, not to mention it’s open till 3am on weekends. Besides the variety of takes on taco it’s pretty cool, I really like the self serve beans station. Nothing fancy but hits the spot.

I love me some Tijuana Tacos! While this is one of my less favorite locations, they still have a fully stocked salsa bar which includes free beans and pickled veggies. The best part about this place is the spit roasted all pastor and the side of grilled veggies you get with each order. Service is fine, efficient and fast. Prices are good, portions are on on the small side, but prices are cheap and the menu extensive so order up. Not much good food options in the area, so this is for sure a highlight in town.
