Scott Heady AC Air Conditioning

Awesome service. Person called me up prior to Scott’s arrival. He’s professional and friendly. He works quick and patiently explains the problem. Glad to know an AC service man for the future use.

I called this company because my AC was not blowing cool air. We were going through really hot weather and it was a Sunday. Most other AC repair companies were either closed or wanted to charge a fortune because of it being Sunday. Scott said he could be out in a few hours and there was no extra charge. He came out and within 15 minutes Scott fixed my AC problem. He also had a really reasonable price. I will definitely be using him again. Very nice guy.

Scott is very well-​knowledgeable and also informative. We bought a house that had A/​C problems. There was also a heatwave going on. Scott is such a nice guy, he came in a day before when he heard we had a toddler. He inspected our A/​C and quickly found out the problem, fixed it, and also had reasonable prices for his work. I highly recommend this guy!

Great experience. Service was prompt and friendly. He did not try to sell us stuff we didn’t need and took care of the problem quickly.

I have often referred to Unilocal when looking for repair services and was glad when came across all the positive reviews for Scott Heady. I proceeded to call for rates/​schedule availability and were impressed because a service call ($ 42.50) was cheaper than other quotes I received.
I called for Scott’s services because the AC unit wasn’t blowing cold air. Now, given this service call was for a rental property in Moreno Valley, I rely on the feedback of my tenant. It seemed Scott arrived as scheduled and proceeded to conduct the service. The visit did not last longer than 10 minutes and my tenant was informed of a loose wire which Scott reconnected.
Imagine my surprise to hear that the issue was easily identified and quickly resolved. I also received positive feedback regarding his manners and services quality. So I figure hey, I’m going to keep his contact information for future AC maintenance.
So here’s where things go downhill. I received a call from Marissa Heady confirming the completed job and states that Scott found an issue with the loose wire and that he performed a tune up on the AC. The total bill for the work was $ 100.94. I questioned the job done and asked for a description of work, which I received later.
Notes: «Performed tune up. Tightened electrical wires. Repaired broken wire. Checked voltage and amp draws. Checked freon levels. System is now working well».
I paid for the services rendered, but can’t shake the feeling that I’ve been charged a high amount because the property was a rental. I’m not one to shortchange a company for services rendered, but how can a service call of $ 42.50 end up being $ 100.94 for «fixing a loose cable». I’d like to heed caution to future customers who are not available on site to supervise the work performed.

Showed up at the time stated, which was on the same day that I called him. Fixed the problem in a very short time and the price was right!

My A/​C fan stopped blowing one day. I found Scott on Unilocal.He had great reviews so I called him. We set up a time for him to come by. He was right on time. After checking my unit, he informed me the mother board had failed. Scott told me he can have one here in 30 minutes and get it up and running again. While we were waiting for the part to be delivered, he checked my freon level. He told me it was a little low but if it was cooling sufficiently we could just leave it. I appreciated him not telling me I HAD to put freon in and incur another charge. Scott is friendly, professional and qualified. As he was leaving I told him he’s my A/​C guy from now on. This is the first problem I’ve had with my A/​C but it’s nice knowing he’s out there if I need him.

We had Scott Heady AC change our entire AC unit, furnace and ducking. He did a wonderful job big project done in three days very professional. We would recommend Scott to our family and friends. Great service we are very Happy.

Having to manage a house long distance has it’s problems. The tenants called to say that the a/​c was making a strange sound. I got out on Unilocal and found Scott. I called and had them make arrangements with the tenants. Scott kept to his promised schedule, came in found a small problem, fixed it and left. He is now our a/​c guy and has the account. His office staff is professional and polite.

Scott came by on short notice, fixed my AC, and was gone in 30min flat! Having had my AC worked on at several properties in several states, Scott is by far the BEST AC repair guy I have encountered. Price of the repair was also very reasonable. Scott’s my go to guy for any and all future repairs.

My A/​C is making a weird noise when it starts up. I called Scott Heady and made an appointment. The lady who answered made the appointment and said he would arrive on the scheduled date between 2 and 4. Scott arrived at 2:20 and it was a pleasure to meet him. Scott knew what the problem was right away. It was just liquid trying to force its way to the second floor on start up. There was nothing really to be fixed. He told me to keep changing my filters and to keep the A/​C hosed off. He didn’t charge me anything. I know he could have charged me the $ 43 dollars for the service charge. I can’t attest to his quality of his work, there are plenty of reviews for that, but I can tell that he is an honest guy who values his reputation. I will definitely call him when my A/​C breaks!

Called Scott after waiting 7 days for another company to tell me I needed a $ 940 motor.
I called this company at 10am on a Tuesday. He was out at 2:00 pm on a Tuesday and the problem (loose wires) was fixed by 4pm on Tuesday.
I guess you could say he saved me $ 800, but I wasn’t going to pay that no way, no how, no way! I’m not sure what the problem was with the 1-​star review, but I could not be happier and have already recommended him to my mother.

Awesome service! Will definitely use again. Scott came right out, fixed the problem and was very reasonable. This is the type of customer service I like and wish was everywhere. He is friendly, knowledgable, and accurate. If you need someone that deals straight up and give you what you need and not a bunch of stuff you don’t need Scott is the perfect fit

Fast, Professional, … I would highly recommend scott. He squeezed me in on a BUSY summer day. He was here a total of 45 minutes. Fixed capacitor, topped off freon, checked system.

Last honest guy, gave me the fix over the phone to save him having to come out and charge! Our money saved was his lost but he did it anyway just to be a good guy. I know who we will call next time when we need service!!! Thank you Scott!

Scott is the best. He came to my house at 9 pm to look at my ac. I called around all day and no one else would come until the next day and wanted $ 59-&120 just to come out. He fixed my unit for $ 149 and even showed me how to care for the system. I will call him again in a heartbeat. He was kind, reasonable, and willing to come out late at night for our comfort. Service beyond expectation!
Called him at 7am, he arrived 1pm and a/​c was fixed by 1:30pm.
The cost was less than I expected and the I can sleep in my bed now.
Very kind and gives you tips to avoid unnecessary repairs. I truly don’t want to use anyone else.
So grateful.

As luck would have it my AC died on the day our heatwave started — My daughter started calling around to find someone who would come out asap-​ish. She got a hold of Scott and he let her know he could come out Thursday after 5pm…
Scott showed up later than 5 — no big deal. and he was ready to get to it! He worked whatever magic and sure as sh*t, I have a working AC! The cost was SO much less than I was expecting! He was a friendly and funny guy and i will definitely do business with him again. And will happily recommend him to anyone I know!

Here is someone else I have been doing business with for several years and thru 2 houses. So happy to see he put himself here — -too bad there is another review… but the Unilocaler must have added the business himself
Met Scott a long time ago-​as a referral from someone else (in the dog world no less) and have never even thought of going elsewhere.
