Moreno Valley Mall

There’s nothing really special about this mall, and I don’t go out of my way to go here, however, they do have a Sears and a Harkins, both of which I go to on occasion.

Very nice mall. Lots of things for kids to do such as trampoline, kid play area, Round 1 and my favorite long lasting Animal Balloons Pets.

The mall has seen better days. Most of the shops in the facility are okay, they’re nothing special. During the holiday they do offer activities for the family and kids so that’s good. Harkins Theater is great and Round One has a good fan base. I’ve hear rumors that the mall kicks stores out of their space and relocates shops if someone offers more for the spacing.

This mall was really bad! My friends and I didn’t feel safe walking around here.

Some slots are open for boutiques to be open but mall is decent. We always watch movies here. I hope this mall grows since it is a good one

Ok so this mall is pretty much an embarrassment. It’s like the rio rancho but just bigger. Most of the stores in here are just full of crap. There are hardly any good quality stores in here. The only reason I would ever shop in this mall is if I needed to get something real quick, other than that I would never have a shopping day here. One thing I actually do like in this mall is the movie theatre but then it’s also kind of strange to me to have a movie theatre in a mall. The closest malls I would actually suggest for shopping would be the Tyler mall or Victoria gardens.

I would say shut down the Mac Counter inside Macy’s because the customer service sucks ass, but the nearest Mac is at Tyler Mall… so anyways, screw the service at Mac. I still go there to get my makeup products, but 1) the employees have an idea of what they’re doing when they match your color, but they end up giving you 2 or 3 shades darker/​lighter, 2) they make you wait longer than needed & 3) they always give attitude when you ask for a makeup product. Hate the customer service here.

Sadly this mall hasn’t always been good. From facing racial threats outside to poor customer service inside yet coming here recently made me realize maybe this mall has changed a little for the better until… Until I met the present wrapping lady. One would assume maybe because you don’t list pricing or a logo or even posters stating you are an outside employment charity organization, you’re probably hired through the mall to help wrap Christmas presents. Yes I expected the service to be free but because she looked like she was having a bad day I wanted to tip her.
It started off slow, from small talks to talking about her long day at work to eventually talking about how she dealt with a customer who tipped her .15 cents. Presumably she flipped out believing the service was free as well. Being me, I didn’t really think too much about it during that time. Eventually at the end of her service of wrapping my one and only one present she hits me with a charge. «15» she says. I simply thought OK, .15 cents I’ll tip her too while I’m at it. As I’m looking through my wallet for .15 cents she says, «$ 15 Dollars». Excuse me? You can’t be for real? It was then I understood why her previous customer flipped out when she was asked the same thing.
Now, here’s what I don’t understand. She supports her claim of «15» by saying its for charity. She never once spoke to me what her charity was and who it was to. Second, am I donating to charity or am I paying for her salary? Don’t get me wrong I’ll gladly donate but to exploit me on spot wasn’t really a jolly thing to do. In confusion, I’m still looking through my wallet thinking what to do but in the moment I knew she spotted the $ 5 slightly sticking out and jokingly says «it’ll be $ 5 dollars». I ask her again if she was kidding but nope, she was being serious.
Me being me of course I’m not one for causing commotion and with people around I don’t want to cause a big scene. So I simply gave her what she wanted. There’s nothing wrong with using sale techniques for charity but to exploit it… That was an awful thing to do.

The Mall is great, some people just talk too much unecessary crap. It has a few major department stores like, Macys, JC Penny, Sears etc. the Theater is Nice, theres a Round 1 and Plenty of Shops. I can appreciate the mellow environment in comparison to other Malls. The Food Court is pretty good too, but I suggest adding a few more vendors.

Just attended another fabulous free breakfast for mall walkers at the Moreno Valley mall today. These folks really know how to take care of their clientele! It is the best place in the IE to exercise, meet nice people and, of course, shop and dine! Give it a try! You’ll be glad you did!

This place is out of control. Too many kids running around with their pants half way down showing ass crack and boxers.
Security doesn’t seem to do anything. I walked it and almost immediately walked out. I would not recommend this place for families.

Business always looks slow at this mall… Everyone there needs to step up their game. Starting with customer service… Service the few customers left properly please. Round 1 is awesome but customer service rating 1 star.

This Mall is cool I use to come here when I was young during the summer BUT now that I’m older I don’t come here very often. One day I desided to go the the MAC store in Macy’s and I was very disappointed the girls in there didn’t help me at all I was standing around for 10 minutes I already knew what I wanted so I went to the counter. I hated the girls attitude at the counter she was very sarcastic and unprofessional and didn’t follow directions very well. I didn’t see any girls who looked like me or had my skin tone. I’m sad to say but the San Bernardino MAC is much better I will continue to go there or the one at Ontario mills.

The absolut worst mall that I have ever been to. Ever. Almost all of the name brand stores have left. Even the ‘no name’ stores are moving out one by one. It is like a ghost town there everyday unless it is a new movie out or a last resort place on a holiday. I also heard that there is asbestos in the mall.

This is like Buena Park Mall’s twin… that’s not a good thing.

Cons: Have you ever been to a mall before? If you have been to a decent mall before then you’ll know that everything else about this mall is a con beside the… Round 1 and Harkins. Not only does this shop have next to no shops, but there aren’t any deals to even give an incentive for people to buy stuff. The only time I ever bought something from here. was when I had to go to Macy’s because I needed a crap pair of dress shoes for work that I wouldn’t mind getting beat up and worn down. Oh also. there’s a Hometown Buffet. this is a con because Hometown Buffet used to be the cream of the crop for buffets… like 20 years ago. now it’s the cream of the crap. I’ll write a review on that later maybe. or not. The food court is terrible too, but that’s expected. I think they have a Hot Dog On a Stick there, but that might be Tyler Mall. If they do. then that’s a pro.
Bottom line: The only reason why you would go here is because of Round 1 and Harkins. The surrounding area has some decent food if you’re stuck to Riverside area, but besides that. you aren’t going to find anything cool here.

The mall has come along way over the past few years bringing in new stores. Slow but easy shopping, some changes in the food court.

Not bad. Its hard to rate any mall after going to south coast plaza. Pros, it has very nice arcade and lots nice shops like macy ect. Cons, some shops r closed and not so decent food court. Over all i like and i recommend!

This mall is okay, the only thing it has going for it is the movie theaters and round one. This is a decent mall it has the usual stores. Nothing that makes it really stand out other than what I mentioned before. This place is good for when you just want to get in and out with your shopping, if you want to find more stores selections stick to the galleria and Ontario mills.

The most depressing mall ever. There’s a reason that there’s always plenty parking…
In terms of shops I normally go to, they have a small amount. Macys, Forever 21, Victoria Secret, a pop-​up Sephora in JC Penneys. The amount of items each store carries makes it very hard to shop. I don’t recall the last time I saw a F21 that tiny, or a Macy’s that empty that was missing several lines of clothing and make-​up. Only go here if there’s something you absolutely need and you know for sure you can get it here quickly.

This mall has all the usual department stores
Theres always lots of parking
Not crowded&pretty clean
Harkins theatre and round 1 is a plus
This mall used to be better before the recession, with most of the locations occupied, whereas now most stores are closed besides the dep. stores.
Overall it isnt a bad place to shop at, it just needs more stores so more people can come and give it a livelier vibe
