STAY AWAY!!! MUST READ! I would give them 0 stars
This is an unethical company that uses malicious tactics to swindle and gouge tenants of their deposits so they can pocket it. Regardless if you clean the house spotless, they will say it’s dirty. They will charge you a cleaning fee, depending on the size of your house and this is even before you move out! That is FRAUD! On the day I moved, I threw some trash into the trash bin and left it out for waste management to pick it up bc I still have service, they pulled the bins in and charged me for a hauling fee. How Ridiculous Is that?! When we first moved in, their washer and dryer that they provided leaked water and it seeped into the bottom floor. Now they charged me to paint the who house and ceilings! They are a bunch of crooks
These ppl are getting tenants deposits so they can pocket the money. So DO NOT USE THIS STUPID COMPANY!

This company is unethical. I would not recommend doing any business with them. When I used their service, I always had mysterious charges every month. Look elsewhere if you want to rent out your home.
I do not like writing negative reviews, but their service needs to improve.

This was our first time using Mgmt ONE. IT WAS A GOOD experience their properties are very clean, well maintained with good curb appeal. The owner of the home took pride in this home and fixed items right away. It was nice to see Mgmt One work closely with the owner in any repairs needed. It was an enjoyable difference compared to other rentals. I would like to give a shout out to Dianna she has made dealing with the company a wonderful experience!

Working with Management One has been a lovely experience! They have been nothing but accommodating in all our rental/​service requests and have happily negotiated with us when the situation has required it. Couldn’t have asked for a better property management company to deal with while leasing.

I have rented from Management One for 10+ years. Service has changed, and just when I was about to lose hope, Dianna stepped in and made us feel valued again. She hand delivered a check to our home, and took it upon herself to follow up with us after some work was done. (Not even her area) No one has ever done that! I understand there have been staffing changes, hopefully she stays!

I have been renting through Management One for a few years now. Service request did seem to take a long time and the work never seemed to get done «right». Lately the staff seemed to change and the company is more responsive to the tenants needs. Work order repairs are getting done quicker. The staff have always been super friendly and very approachable.

Since the staff in the Moreno Valley office has changed the work orders are being handled a lot faster and efficiently. I have lived at the Management one address for three years now and it has always been a problem trying to get work done around the house that I couldn’t get done myself. However in this past six months most of my issues have been processed and I’d say 90% of my work orders have been resolved completely. The new staff returns phone calls much faster and they really stay on top of the issue. If something takes time to be handled they call you to let you know of the status. Really appreciate the new group in the Moval office!

Ok I NEVER write reviews but this company is so unprofessional. The three years I rented a home from them was horrible.!! The woman that work there are rude and never know what they are doing. I finally got out of that house and they sent me a refund check and then a week later put a stop payment on the check after I deposited it. Now I’m waiting patiently to see what’s going to happen but I am not going to hold my breath with this company. Honestly take your money elsewhere, it will save you a huge headache!

When selecting a property management company I shopped several companies. Sure some were less expensive but I believe you get what you pay for. The monthly inspections, direct deposit and more makes it so easy for me to be relatively stress free. Of course, not everyone is perfect and people make mistakes but Management One has always made things right. I would recommend Management One to anyone that wants a reliable management company.

worste place to rent from from, i moved in and still have a cracked closet door no back yard door screen, no room window screen, they came to do a walk through and said hell put in the order its been 6 months now and nothing has changed so i just do the repairs myself

This «business» is horrendous. The staff there are polite until you move into one of their homes. Once you’ve moved in they do not care about your problems they’re completely rude to people over the phone and their maintenence is awful do not utilize these incompetent people. Do your self a favor and keep on looking.

Update in response to Management One’s Customer Service Representative Response:
First off, wow! The sheer audacity of your response is ridiculous. You mention the following in your reply:
—«Regarding the $ 10,000 that the client alluded to, this is also a full income tax write off. So in most cases will get back 40% of that $ 10,000 on their income taxes, so that leaves $ 6000. «—
You’re writing as if the $ 10,000 cost to repair the property was a «benefit» to me because I can write a PORTION of the damage cost off as a tax benefit? That’s ridiculous.
Speaking of your «management», you wrote as if the inspection services your company provides rarely or never looks into the interior of the rented property and therefore the condition of the interior property is not your responsibility as a management company. Funny, I’ve received reports from Management One describing the interior of the property, with all boxes checkmarked «fair» condition. Your company must have some pretty spiffy X-​Ray goggles to be able to describe the interior of the property in an update report (which you charge me extra for) without actually entering the property. I understand wear and tear. I also understand the difference between wear and tear and damage that goes beyond what is reasonable. This was a case of the latter, not the former. To use your analogy that a management company is like the police department, and therefore does not guarantee against crime (in this case, property damage), I completely agree. However, the police department is supposed to be a DETERRENT to crime. Your company was not a deterrent at all. To put it another way, if you were a security company, and my property was being vandalized regularly despite the fact that you are paid and contracted to protect my property, wouldn’t any reasonable person be angry that as a security company, you are not doing your job?

Really? If you’ve been in business for 30 years and rarely have a client with an issue, I suggest you take a look at this page more often seeing as it’s filled with those clients with rare issues.

Terrible service, don’t return calls, especially during an emergency. My rental experience was terrible.

Worst Company to Work With! Run with your MONEY and Time ! Stay Away From them!
They should change their name to Management NONE. They used to managed my properties and it was such a headache to deal with them constant arguing and no service. Such a Bad experience with them.

Worse management, rip off company!!! They even put you on collection after you sold the properties!

Scam artists. If you are a prospective tenant, you would do yourself a huge favor and save yourself a whole lot of money in the long run by looking elsewhere. They take their sweet time to schedule and make repairs to their properties and have no problem rolling their eyes and letting you know that you’re not their priority. Their staff members — notably Erin and the accounting team — are extremely self righteous and rude, although I will say the front desk is friendly and helpful. You may be the best tenant in the world who pays on time and takes care of a rental like it’s your own, and they’ll still find a way to swindle you out of money. Miscellaneous charges, deceitful practices, whatever it takes, they’ll get your cash. Oh, and don’t even THINK about asking for your security deposit back, even if you did leave the property nicer than you found it. I have rented numerous properties from several property management companies over many years and have always received my deposit back because I’m a responsible tenant, but because they know there’s only so much the consumer can do to fight their claims, they kept it regardless of whether or not it was ethical or legal. It takes a whole lot to make me want to post a review, but I have to spread the word and give other honest, hard working renters a heads up… Renters, beware: Management One Moreno Valley routinely and deliberately makes up for their shortfalls in customers and revenue by keeping customer deposits. These people are professional crooks. Read other complaints and reviews and you’ll see that the only thing they care about is robbing you of your hard earned dollars and cents. Run as fast as you can and find another property management company or your checkbook will be very, very sorry later. If you want to throw 50% or more of of your deposit money in the garbage, these are your guys.

We had an awful experience with this company. The person responsible for new accounts is either sneaky or extremely forgetful. Before signing the contract, we were assured certain things such as not having to replace the window treatments. Upon signing the contract, things suddenly were a different story… of course, different that it would cost us more money. Instead of going through the whole thing we decided to just buy out the contract. Cut our loses early instead of being strung along. Even that didn’t end the ordeal. Even after we’ve settled our account… it was sent to a collector. Mind you, the delay was caused by their lack of response to accounting questions. Definitely, stay away for your sanity and your checkbook.
UPDATE: Been meaning to add this tidbit for a while now but keep forgetting to. So, Management One reported to the IRS that we received rental income on the property. That’s kind of difficult considering we bought out the contract and it was never rented out through them… so what rental income are they reporting? Shady!!! Stay away!!!

Every month, we have to check monthly statements since they always make lots of mistakes. Correction takes up to 10 days — very slow.
Also I have to note that any repairs they handle are unbelievablly costly. They charged $ 100 to replace the one sprinkler head — which costs only $ 8 at Home Depot.
Also they openly share the other property owner’s information — we even reported this questionable operation, yet the certain website (to check personal statement via online) is still not secured. Very unprofessional.
