There is always plenty of parking whenever I frequent this store which is usually on a weekday morning. This location is always really clean and I never see products out of place. The employees have always been extremely friendly towards me and checking out is a breeze. I am a huge fan of their greeting card selection as well as their gift bag and ribbon selections. They also have something I have never seen before, little 8oz cans of Monster energy drink, very cool! Yes, everything is $ 1!

One of the smaller locations but still many deals to be had, next to TJ Maxx and the post office. Chilled sodas, bottled water, greeting cards, pens/​pencils, packing envelopes, basic office stuff and cleaning supplies are normal purchases of mine, and even though some of the food items are name brands and off brands, decent selection there.
When the holidays roll around gift bags and wrapping paper are dirt cheap, less than half what Target would charge.

Love this place. Everything is a $ 1.00!
Go there at least 3 – 5 times a week. Kids school stuff, birthday balloons, cards, and just some crap we probably don’t need. A little short staffed at times but it’s hard to predict when it will be busy. Some times it’s a ghost town and others a crazy madhouse.
Polite staff and clean store.
Great for seasonal holiday stuff that eventually gets thrown away or outdated.

There are no dollar stores anywhere near my house, so whenever I see one I whine til my hon of hons husband relents and stops. This is not the best dollar store I’ve been to, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Once inside I grabbed a basket and started scanning the aisles. In about five minutes I had scooped up some kitchen goods, some jarred spices, organic rye flour (major score!), licorice, bottle of Tapatio, and a bunch of name brand soups that I like to keep on hand for a quick lunch or snack.
I walked back to the car in a sunny mood and proudly displayed my prizes to my HoHH, who simply rolled his eyes and started the car.
I love a bargain — who doesn’t?

Great prices. Good deals. Customer service is great. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that some of the non-​brand name stuff is really shitty. But hey, its $ 1. What more can you expect? Great for the essentials, like toothpaste, soap, deodorant. Even some non-​essentials, spray bottles, buckets, pans. I usually check to see if they have something before I go buy it at safeway or osh. Why spend more then I need to? I work hard for my money.

It’s the dollar tree! Tons of crap you don’t really need for only $ 1! Being in Moraga it’s clean and not filled with homeless people or hoards of children running around. I only bought some candy as stocking stuffers, and a bag of dog treats, all of which have been since consumed and enjoyed.

The dollar tree is a great destination for preschool teachers needing cheap materials for school projects. My most recent purchases were glowsticks for our «mini-​rave» during a rainy day (great way to release all that energy when cooped up inside the classroom), and ornaments for our class Christmas tree. I would personally, NEVER buy food there though.

Probably one of the nicest Dollar Tree stores, although somewhat smaller than most I’ve visited and not crowded with shoppers. Plenty of parking. Suprisingly wide selection of items all priced at $ 1. Some terrific bargains here on such things as batteries, cleaning products, arts and crafts, office supplies, storage containers, kitchen and hardware, personal hygiene items, etc. Worth a visit if you happen to be in Moraga, Lafayette or Orinda. Check their website for weekly specials.

Plan on grabbing a large cart and spending time here because there is just so much to see and get! There are definitely deals to be had here. Greeting cards galore (bye bye expensive Hallmark cards), cleansers, toys, books, kitchen ware… and much more! I will never pay full price for some of these things again when I can save so much money by paying one dollar. Best kept secret of Moraga is that they all shop here to!

Clean. Some of the staff is terrific. Some, not so terrific. Very convenient when in Lamorinda. Why two stars? Because the place out on Clayton Road (the 99cent Store) is fantastic, and in addition to having 3 times the selection, it has lower prices. How’s that possible? Well, whereas Dollar Tree gives you 6 mini MilkyWays, the other place gives you 8. Also, the other place has just amazing stuff. Many things that are closeouts, or overstocks of high end products. And if you’re going to actually go to a dollar store, might as well go the best. Also, they have tons of fresh produce. Sometimes pineapples, beautiful artichokes. Yes, I will go and put a review up on the correct site. But still…

This place didn’t impress me a bit since they are a much smaller location than the one in pleasant hill. They don’t even play music and its awkward… made me want to leave. They don’t offer too many products and I would rather drive to the pleasant hill location.

I like it! Simple and clean. A lot of good stuff (my colander was made in the US!) and a lot of weird stuff (who has ever heard Sofitelle toilet paper?)
Easy parking and a pleasant shopping experience. I’m going there to get some home office supplies tomorrow.

This is def. one of the best dollar trees I’ve been to.
Great service and lots of great finds!
My favorite things to get from this particular store:
–Books! They have a great selection of books! Check out this place before heading over to Barnes and Nobles.
– Movie Candy! Whoopers!
– Batteries. why does CVS always mark up batteries?
– Top Ramen, a 6 pack for $ 1? Game on!
– Flour, baking soda, etc.; much cheaper than anything you’ll find in Safeway.
Tons of parking and a few restaurants in the area might spark your interest.
