History

Established in 2012.

Arroz Con Leche was created by Claudia Milano, a native of Argentina. In 2002, she graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literature with concentration in Spanish Studies. After graduation, she completed additional course work and obtained a teacher certification in ESL (English as a Second Language) at the same University. From 2003 to 2005, she worked in two public schools in Delaware, teaching ESL to Hispanic students from Kindergarten to 4^th Grade. In 2005, she moved to New Jersey and worked as a Teacher Assistant in Highlands Elementary School. In 2006, she received her New Jersey teaching certificate in Spanish. At the beginning of 2009, she started working in Salta! Jump into Spanish, where she taught the 4 year-​old Preschool class, a 6 year-​old Saturday class and full time Summer Camp. She worked in Salta! until August 2010, when she moved to California.
