PNC Field

Recently attended a game here and had a very enjoyable time. The stadium is easy to get to, parking is well-​organized, and all members of the staff were very helpful and hospitable. The park itself is laid out nicely and does have that comfortable «hometown» feel. Admittedly though, I was a bit surprised by the lack of locations where you can get actual food… as opposed to just snack items. That said, I would totally come back here for more games in the future; besides, as a Yankees fan, I can totally be a fan of the Scranton/​Wilkes-​Barre RailRiders. :)

I’ve been to PNC Field twice now, and both times I had a wonderful time. It’s a family friendly park with lots of activities for the little ones. Today is «bring your dog» to the park day and I love how organized and clean everything is. Definitely worth the money, especially on a beautiful day like today.

PNC Field in Moosic Pennsylvania is home to the Yankees AAA minor-​league team. I am a diehard New York Mets fan unfortunately the Mets minor-​league team is located in Las Vegas so when I’m in Pennsylvania for work I try to catch a game here because after all baseball is still baseball.
The stadium and field itself is recently been renovated and they did a really good job on it. The staff here is very friendly and they will assist you in anyway that you need unfortunately I do not know the prices of the food or the drinks that they offer here because I usually get drinks at a restaurant not far from the stadium. There is a restaurant on montage Mountain that actually has outdoor seating where you can sit and look over the entire stadium. It’s very hard to see the games from the restaurant but you can still make out what players wearing a white shirt and what players wearing a darker shirt. Parking here is free
Overall to Cool field. If you do have little kids I recommend bringing them here for a game it’s cheap you get good seats and there’s free parking

Nice new stadium. Staff are great crowd is nice and the park is clean. If you have time stop by and see a game its worth it.

One of the friendliest and helpful staffs in all of minor league baseball. They are well trained to make the fans feel comfortable and enjoy the game. The Park is great. You can walk completely around it. Food is abit pricey. Best is the Bar-​b-​que out by the batterseye. The odd thing is the Railriders Mascot. What the hell is it??? Anyway if you’re passing thru the area and a game is on, its a wonderful way to spend some time.

This past Saturday was my first time at the newly built PNC Field. To start, parking is still free and the lot is pretty massive. In my opinion, they’ve built the stadium to look like very similar to Yankee Stadium (in the interior that is). They have similar concrete breezeways, concessions and the restrooms all look very similar to Yankee Stadium.
The field itself is very nice and the area that surrounds it is basically undeveloped, so there are just many trees surrounding it. It’s very peaceful and serene. There’s a great hitter’s backdrop here. Derek Jeter was also playing (rehabbing) in the game we went to, so that was an added bonus. The stadium workers are very friendly and there seemed to be some sort of an event in between every inning.
The knock I have on this place is – the food. I was very disappointed to find out there is no restaurant/​bar at the new PNC Field (there was one at the old stadium). When I was standing in line, a lady told me that the pizza (Revello’s sp?) was very good. It was actually right by our seats so we ordered some squares (it’s the NEPA way of ordering slices). When I bit into the pizza, I immediately thought the lady had to have been messing with me because the pizza was terrible. It reminded me of Ellios and I don’t mean that as a compliment. My wife and I ended up splitting a chicken fingers and fries dinner — just OK. I will give them props for having $ 4 draft beers… and for having Yuengling on tap.
This isn’t a place that I come to often, but I really think it’s great for the area. It’s a much cheaper and convenient alternative for people in the area than having to drive to either the Bronx or Philly to catch some baseball action. The quality of play is also pretty nice (AAA — one level below the big leagues). And, you can also get pretty lucky and see some stars rehabbing with the team.

What a fantastic time we had!!! First time visit to recent Bat Day. I was surprised that adults and children entering the park were given a bat. They even opened the gates early for the crowd that was gathering out front. Once inside the refurbished park looked fantastic. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Our seats in section 17, row 11, were perfect. We were on the cusp of sun and shade which was great for my young ones on a hot day. Concession prices were comparable to other minor league parks. We were lucky enough to catch a foul ball and a free t-​shirt shot from the Gatling gun. My only disappointment is the play area in left center field. We paid $ 5 per child to play «all» game. But they shut down and collapsed everything during the 5^th inning? Why, we were told we could come back during entire game? But otherwise it was a great day, with lots of fun. For us a short 2 hour ride from New York via I-​84. Recommend to all. We plan on going back in August.

My wife and I attended a game with another couple and their 2 year old son. Their son had so much fun playing in the kids area and with other children in the grass behind the outfield that we never made it tour actual seats. The renovations have made the stadium much more family friendly. The food selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the promotions have been fantastic.

Had an excellent experience at the newly renovated PNC Field this weekend. Everything from the entrance to the concourse to the hallways were pristine and the staff was extra friendly and welcoming. Concession prices were consistent with other minor league stadiums I’ve been to. I’d like to see them expand the food options slightly, but that’s really my only gripe. A night at PNC Field is now affordable and fun. Visit soon and review for yourself!
Edit: Another feature that might be helpful is having the radio feed available in the restrooms so you know what’s going on if you need to step out for a few pitches.

I’ve seen two games now at the newly renovated PNC field, one sitting in the seats along the first base line and one from a luxury box. I have to say that the new stadium is great. It is much more fan oriented than the old stadium and has the feel of a hometown ball park. One of the most exciting aspects of the renovation is the ability to walk along the wall in the outfield and the grassy hill behind the fence. It reminds me of the Little League World Series field in Williamsport, PA. The food selection is lacking, but they do have local pizza from Ravellos in Old Forge. The prices are a little higher than I would like to see, but it is a baseball stadium and that is typically an easy way to make more money.
The luxury box was nice, but I feel like they are a little too deep and make watching the game hard unless you’re right against the glass or sitting in the seats outside the box. The boxes also give you access to a «server» who checks in every few innings to get drink or food orders. Prices are high here too but again, the markup is to be expected.
