Thank goodness for Marc Sallin and Alan Reed! Two of the most amazing guys. After a water pipe burst in my home, I called Servpro of Encino and Alan came over right away to begin the restoration process thereby turning a bad situation around. Not only were Alan and Marc both neat, knowledgeable and extremely professional, they were always on hand to provide reassurance when I needed it most. Each and every person I encountered at this company impressed me with their customer service. I believe it was the caliber of their professionalism which helped the insurance process go smoothly. Even the insurance adjuster spoke of them favorably. Even though Servpro is a large organization, Servpro of Encino had a «small town» feel in terms of service and it was nice to know I could actually visit them in their local office.

My Servpro experience was extremely positive. Jeff and the team were very professional. The team was highly responsive to any questions/​requests that I had and even helped with organizing the reconstruction company. We have used ServPro of Encino/​Sherman Oaks for many years now for various services and thought it was time we publicly told everyone how fantastic this business is. They have helped us with heavy rain flooding, severe smoke damage from a fire, cleaning our carpets, eliminating strange odors and even cleaning our outdoor furniture pads. The owner, MIchael Alper, is completely professional and knowledgeable as well as being one the nicest and friendliest people we’ve ever worked with. His staff and crew are equally as professional and friendly and always do impeccable work. If we ever need any building or repair work done at our home, I can always count on them to, at very least, point us in the right direction even if our needs are not their particular specialty. Most of all, we appreciate that they always treat us and our home and belongings with total respect. It really doesn’t get any better.

Michael and his team are the best! They were quick to respond, thorough in explaining all that they would do to fix my home, punctual, conscientious with all their work and really nice about answering all my questions, even after the job was completed. They left my home clean. It was also really nice that they worked directly with my insurance company.
I would not hesitate to recommend Michael Alper to my friends and I would call them again in a heartbeat. Also, they use a non-​toxic bacteria/​fungi-​cide.

Michael, Miguel, Mark and all the guys from Servpro are heroes. We had a massive sewage flood and their team was in our house immediately, ripped out the flooring and damaged areas, and started the remidiation process. Because of their speed and efficiency, the damage was less extensive than it could have been. They monitored the situation over the next few weeks until the house was completely clean, dry, and bacteria-​free.
We have since used ServPro for carpet cleaning and they are masters when it comes to tough stains. I almost ruined a brand new, white couch by trying to remove a stain on my own with over the counter products. Mark saved the day and completely removed the stain.
They also do great stone cleaning. Amazing how much brighter a room looks when the tile and grout look brand new.
Great service, great guys, great rates… you will be happy you called.

Referrals are everything so I don’t hand them out lightly. It’s with the greatest of gratitude that I commend and recommend Mike Alper and his crew at Servpro Encino. Within 30 minutes of calling they were at my house, taking control and starting the clean up, soothing our frazzled nerves and handholding us the entire way. The way they have taken charge, guiding us through this nightmare process, has been nothing but professional, over and beyond what I expected. You can depend on Mike and his team, only hoping you’ll never need to!

ServPro of Encino came highly recommended from a friend (who happens to be in the insurance business) and they did not disappoint. Our particular problem stemmed from a water filter leak under the kitchen sink which resulted in a lot of water damage and some mold. The owner Michael Alper worked with us directly and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and overall great to work with. We called early Monday morning and he was there later that morning with an assessment and work estimate. As a female property owner he was very respectful and patient walking me through the process and next steps. They were prompt, and his team was very courteous as well (including his administrative contact Meredith). I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone having water damage, even outside of the Encino/​Sherman Oaks area. They are truly experts and the best.

I used Servpro in Encino in 8⁄10. I still haven’t gotten over how very abused I ended up beyond the horrendous flood i was experiencing in my home. Our fire sprinkler system emptied into most of the house starting in the attic penetrating the entire master suite. Then down into the first floor. At that point the carpet was totally ruined. I begged them to pull out carpet. They instead told me it could be saved so they had to dry the entire house. For 13 miserable days. Then the insurance company agreed with me to toss carpet. Servpro was only running up charges. I had to pack up 5k + sq ft of house with it being 100 plus degrees outside and up to 130+ degrees inside upstairs. With all the drying machines.
The second day Michael brought in a moving company (Walters Moving, stay away from them) that was the company from hell in my opinion. They packed our belongings inappropriatly. We had to repack many boxes. When I received my boxes back many important boxes were missing. The owner of Walters was more arrogant and outrageously rude than Sevpro. Personal opinion I think Servpro must get kick back from bringing this scum into the picture. The moving company told me to file a claim but I’d never see a penny as they knew how to get around any erroneous accusations or filings. They bullied me in my opinion… I have never made such outward opinions for public review before in my life.
Don’t hire this Frachise. I have used another many years ago and they were very helpful. In my opinion this branch is unethical to the max.

We had the misfortune of having a sewage backup in my father-​in-​laws home. We were recommended to ServPro and can only tell you that from the beginning we felt in very capable hands. Michael Alper, the owner of the Encino franchise, was attentive, professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. The cleanup was handled quickly, his attention to detail and documentation was very helpful throughout the process but in particular in helping us in the final settlement with the insurance company. He recommendations for the final repairs was first rate and I contribute our recovery from such a mess in large part to Michael!

ServPro cleaned our carpet today and it looks like new again. We had quite a few stains that we couldn’t remove on our own and they were able to. The 2 workers were very nice, they put moving blankets on our hardwood floors to protect them from their equipment. They also put cushioned-​blocks along the walls to protect them from their equipment. Highly recommend!

Let me just say, if you ever need emergency water cleanup, these are your guys. I experienced a flood on a SUNDAY NIGHT and they were the only 24-​hour service who not only picked up the phone, but arrived within 2 hours. My serviceman Freddie was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and empathetic. I definitely have these guys on speed dial!
