History

Established in 2014.

Making my own skincare essentials for gifts and my own use started in my kitchen over 15 years ago. I wanted simple products made with food-​grade, organic ingredients without all the chemicals. Lowering the chemical load I was exposed to daily through skincare and personal-​care products seemed like a no-​brainer. Friends loved my soaps, oils and «un-​lotions», so Ray of Soap was born.

I left a 30 year career in the corporate environment in 2012, after several years of extensive national travel. At that point, I realized I needed to stay home and reorganize my priorities. I decided to pursue my passions and improve my health… and then I found my dharma: Ray of Soap.
