Kimberlee has been amazing to work with! She has always been great with responses whenever I had any questions or concerns. Her photos have been absolutely phenomenal! I have friends who used Kimberlee for their wedding and they have nothing but amazing things to say! I HIGHLY recommend Kimberlee to anyone looking for a photographer! She was also able to order the most beautiful wood print from our wedding. We will treasure her amazing photos forever!

I have been meaning to rate Kimberlee since my wedding on 9÷15÷2013! But now I guess I have more good things to say because she also took my first child’s one year photos! That should say it all-​Kimberlee is THE best of the best and I just will not ever have anyone else take professional photos for me. As soon as I got engaged, I started looking into photographers because I feel like it’s the most important vendor (those are your memories!). I looked at her website & blog & already had a feeling she was going to be the one :-) My fiancé & I went to meet with her and hit it off immediately! Our engagement photos were GORGEOUS and she really had a way of making the session fun and comfortable (at first we were a little awkward in front of the camera). The wedding came and she just kept surprising me with all of her expertise. She was at the venue before me and took photos of me getting my dress out of the trunk. She even knew how to put my veil on when my bridesmaids got confused! Haha. She took photos of things I didnt even realize I wanted photos of! She told everyone tips for how to look their best in the photos and several of my guests asked me for her contact info because they loved her too. She’s just super sweet and funny, down to earth and cool. She took away any anxiety I had. Same thing for my son’s one year/​Christmas photos. She was able to get amazing photos even when he wouldnt hold still & got fussy towards the end of the shoot. Looking back, I was a very picky bride and didnt want to «settle» with alot of stuff and Kimberlee was 1 of the best decisions I made. I remember writing out her thank you card before any of the wedding guests because she was just so amazing!

Kimberlee knows how to handle business. I gave her a list of photos I wanted and she made sure she captured them all. I had 17 people in my bridal party, 4 sets of parents and 5 kids in my wedding and she maneuvered them with such calmness and patience. I cannot wait to see the actual photos because I know they are going to be exquisite! I highly recommend Kimberlee because she truly a professional yet kind, thoughtful photographer. Thank you Kimberlee for capturing our special day!

Wow… Seems there must be an underlying reason for such a scathing response to a justified poor review. I am glad that more positive reviews have come out of the woodworks, although one might question the timing and validity of such response. If the review is «real» then one wonders, why post now, all of a sudden?
In any case, I stand by my review. Like I said, I think it would have been lovely to have worked with Kimberlee and her team, it’s just unfortunate she couldn’t have replied in a more timely fashion.
Oh I should note that after my initial review, less than a day later I received an email with a link to an updated website, with a full host of excuses. Again, curious timing… And if it’s true, that Kimberlee is booked up to 2 YEARS in advance, perhaps she can be of assistance to those who don’t even yet know they are going to be married!

Kimberlee Miller is an amazing photographer, hands down the best in the business. I really can’t say enough about her. I saw her photo books at a few different venues I visited, and I kept liking the same books — realized they were all hers, and booked her right away! She has a wonderful style and classy, timeless nature to her photos. She did our engagement photos at a park near her, which ended up being gorgeous and perfect for us and our personality. It was a great way to get to know her and by the time of the wedding, we felt totally relaxed having her there. Kimberlee is a total pro, calm and confident yet willing to make every wedding unique. She has helpful ideas and suggestions to help things run smoothly, and they did for us – all my family commented on what a fantastic photographer she was, and they don’t even like taking photos! My husband and I both have huge families and she handled it with such ease and grace. She really tailors her work to the couple, even though she must have done a thousand weddings by now! She captured moments I didn’t even know were happening at the wedding! I was also very impressed that when her guest book for us didn’t arrive due to weather delays, she went out of her way to hand-​make a new one for my wedding that looked gorgeous! She is seasoned and professional yet warm and calm — everything you could want in a photographer and more! I can’t recommend highly enough, and this is my first Unilocal review just to get the word out about her! She’s the best!

Kimberlee photographed our daughter’s wedding in June 2013. Kimberlee is easy going and works hard to make everyone in the wedding party feels comfortable and included. She captured every moment of that most special day effortlessly and beautifully. Each one more beautiful and exquisite than I ever imagined possible. When I needed to have professional photos taken, I was worried. I am self-​conscious and shy in front of a camera, but I called Kimberlee. She assured me she would be able to make me feel relaxed enough to sit for a session. Once again, Kimberlee provided me with photos I am proud to use as my brand on my website. I am so very grateful to her. Not only because Kimberlee is a talented photograher, but also because her customer service is impeccable. She is kind and compassionate — doing every thing she can to capture your «special moment.» Two years after the wedding, my daughter is pregnant. We are all looking forward to having Kimberlee take «the bump» and baby photos. We don’t know what we would do without her. She is simply the best!

Kimberlee Miller Photography!!! Yes, As good as it gets! As soon as I saw Kimberlee’s photography website, I knew THIS was our photographer! We made contact and met within a week in her studio. Her images and presentation where BEAUTIFUL, but what sold us was Kimberlee and her calm, assured confidence. That was it! Kimberlee did our engagement photos on location and photographed our wedding. We have been married almost 10 years and if we could give her 10 STARS here we would! She is warm, loving, kind and professional! It was a gift to have her guide us with our timeline for the wedding. Who better to know the flow than the photographer, right!!! The photographer is the one who will be capturing every moment. We felt so comfortable with her. She was so easy to work with and captured everything we wanted and MORE. Kimberlee Miller is the best! Anyone who says otherwise obviously has no experience with her! I HATE taking head shots but needed to a couple months ago. Kimberlee made me feel so comfortable and the pictures came out fabulous. She also shot my sisters senior photos and they were stunning! Oh and did I mention she also shot my wedding last August. Basically what I’m saying here is… Kimberlee will be my families’ photographer until she retires. And I don’t even want to imagine what that day would be like because I am always amazed by her work. Take it from someone who has over four sessions of experience with her. She’s the best! She’s the most sweet and caring person and she will exceed your expectations, GUARANTEED!

Kimberlee did a wonderful job with my daughter’s senior pictures. She is a lovely person who works hard to photograph the heart of the person. My daughter felt very comfortable with her, and the photos were amazing! SHE IS AWESOME!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Kimberlee. When I first reached out to her about shooting our wedding she was quick to respond and so easy to talk to. After meeting her in person I just knew she was the type of person I wanted around on our wedding day-​not to mention her photos are absolutely stunning. She did our engagement shoot as well and put my super anti photo husband at ease and captured our personalities perfectly. As our wedding got closer she worked with me and our day of coordinator to put together our timeline and take away all my stress. Our wedding day was perfect and all of the photos Kimberlee took are amazing, it’s so hard for me to pick our favorites to put in our album. I would recommend her to anyone and I know we will be using her for years to come to capture our important moments!

I knew from looking at the different venues and seeing Kimberlee Miller’s photo books that I had to have her shoot my wedding. She is so extremely talented, it’s insane!
When I went to book her for my wedding, I found out she was going to be out of town on my wedding date but that Danna was available to shoot my wedding. At first I was nervous, but Danna was so perfect for us! Not only was she blessed with that same talent Kimberlee has, but Danna has such a sweet and easy personality to be around!
Our photos turned out to be so beautiful! Even better than I thought! I am beyond happy with them and would refer Danna and Kimberlee to everyone and anyone!

If you want the most beautiful engagement and wedding photos, hire Kimberlee. The colors, the moments, the perspective… it was all magical. She got my husband to give her genuine smiles! She was able to capture the love we feel for each other and made the photos fun.
I could write a very long detailed review, but the most important thing I could say is Kimberlee will capture your event and the feelings behind it in the most beautiful way possible. She is up to date on the latest trends and techniques, but doe it all better than the rest. She is reasonable and talented. Not hiring her would be a mistake.

I found Kimberlee Miller while perusing a few websites and trying to budget for our wedding. I loved her style immediately, but it was still early so I was trying not to get too excited until we had a date and venue.
Then, to my surprise, we found Kimberlee again as a recommended photographer at our venue a few months later! I was so excited that I booked her ridiculously early. Kimberlee shared our excitement, offered some cool vases if we needed any for our candy bar, and explained that she ultimately tries to stay close to home because there are so many awesome venues in her area (ours was Maravilla Gardens). It’s a gorgeous area, can you blame her?
I had a crazy idea for a venue to take our engagement photos and she totally rolled with it. We ended up at Hidden Treasures in Malibu (after getting permission) and then made our way to a park. Kimberlee had a lot of props, and an amazing vision. We brought some of our own but ended up loving her options too.
You know how sometimes you see a photographers’ work, and all the photos and poses just look the same? Hers aren’t like that. She has a specific style that carries through, but she is really vocal and walks you through so you end up looking like an awesome version of you. Our photos have been described again and again as «so you» — and I like that a lot.
Another great thing about Kimberlee, and I hinted at it above. There are great photographers who are artistic, but to be a successful wedding photographer you need organization and clarity for us folks who are used to sitting on the sidelines. Like a basketball coach, she makes the calls and assertively gets people lined up so your photos with the family after the wedding go quickly. This is your wedding! You need all the time you can get with your guests and she knows how to make it happen. She had a specific strategy of taking photos with the whole family and taking people out, so you’d systematically get all the photos you want. Crazy smart and fast. But the photos come out so warm and spirited, not at all rushed or «posey», just stunning.
Then, her editing is just gorgeous. I flip through my wedding photos on Facebook every so often (I actually did today) and I still love the warmth, the glow of happiness that she brings into the photos. If you like the photos she takes of other people, you will love the ones she takes of you. Give her a call, she is really cool and so creative, you will be so happy you did ;)

Kimberlee photographed our wedding in July 2008. Five years have flown by but every year we look at our photos and would hire her again in a heartbeat. She is easy going and does not make you feel strange or uncomfortable. She captures every moment effortlessly and naturally. We even forget she was there!

We first saw Kimberlee’s work at Walnut Grove and we knew she was the photographer we absolutely needed! Her work has such a romantic and natural look and that is exactly what we wanted.
We ended up having our wedding at a family friend’s home and Kim showed up that day and immediately asked how I was, if she could get me anything and told me to breathe. You not only get amazing photographs from her, you get a friend. I had a migraine a few hours before the wedding so throughout the whole night she was offering me Advil, water and food.
I absolutely would (and have!) recommend Kimberlee to any and all brides out there.

We used Kimberlee for our June 1^st wedding and an engagement session as well. She is so awesome to work with and has a real knack for making you feel comfortable in front of the lens. The photos she took of us and the event came out amazing and I couldn’t be happier. She was there early for the event and stayed late. She made sure all family members got together for photos and was buzzing around the event all night taking photos of everyone and everything. If you’re looking for a professional photographer in the Ventura County area look no further. I highly recommend her and would use her again!

This review is long overdue. Kimberlee shot our engagement and wedding photos a few years back and was a delight to work with. She truly listened to our feedback and found the right balance between candid and editorial shots. Three years on, it’s awesome to look back our photos and feel that they fully and accurately reflect the memories we have of our wedding day.

I’ve hired Kimberlee as my photographer for my upcoming wedding in October, and I know I’ve made the right choice! She was on my wedding venue’s preferred vendor list, and after looking over all of the suggested photographer’s websites, I knew I HAD to have Kimberlee for my wedding. Her style of photography is so ethereal, classy, aesthetically pleasing, and manages to really create a feeling and tell a story. It’s hard to explain, but when I looked at the other photographer’s photos, they all had these sort of cheesy, forced, Sears-​portrait look about them. Kimberlee’s photos are natural and look absolutely effortless… it doesn’t matter how shy or unphotogenic you think you are, Kimberlee knows how to make you look like a well-​seasoned model. The engagement photos she took of my fiancé and I turned out more amazing than I had ever dreamed! I had an idea for one of the Save the Date photos to be me, my fiancé and his 4 yr old daughter in moto jerseys with the words «Save the Date» on the back of each of our jerseys, and then the date of the wedding spread across the jerseys on the back as well, with us posed with our backs turned toward her, standing in front of his dirtbike (we’re a moto family!)… they turned out PERFECT! Every one of our family and friends that got our save the date raved about how great all of the photos turned out to be, and that they were the cutest Save the Dates they’ve ever seen! Not to mention we brought her to our dirtbiking location, a place she’s never been, and she worked the whole area, having us pose in all sorts of places I never thought would look good in a picture, and it looked so cool! She really has an eye for this, and I’m so proud of the work she did for us.
She’s great with communication, very professional with her emails, and really down to earth– If you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask! Not to mention her home studio where she has her initial client meetings is GORGEOUS! She has an eye for décor and photography! Haha ;)
