Jeff was texted 12 this afternoon we were there to pay and left phone number. Sat out front for 30 min waiting for husband with money to pay 1 month in advance for board AND called the Sheriff before we went… The fact that people post up in defense of someone when they were not there or even know us. we don’t know anyone at this entire place but our trainer. so how would you know if our bill is paid… unless someone told you to post it. Fake posts or friends willing to say whatever their told to say due to lack of integrity.
As we came in — pulled WAYIN THE BACK — no way possible to sneak out — in a truck — trailer. kid… horse etc.- Plus if your sneaking why tell your there. LOL Owner saw us. driving right toward/​past him… We continue on to the way back of facility. Jeff then comes around the corner a few minutes after we park the truck and open up trailer. I say my husband is over there looking for you to pay you — please leave us alone. My daughter is standing behind me scared.. He then starts spinning around looking and getting this weird frantic look on his face. He then waves over a lady at the barn (don’t recall her name) nice enough lady all the time we’ve been there and asks her to park her cart by our truck and watch I guess. He then orders one of his workers to run over and while my little girl 9 year daughter is getting her pony — puts a lock on the door and blocks her. This guy Jeff is literally yelling lock the door, lock the door like were some kind of horse bandits out of bad western. My daughter is terrified, starts crying — can’t breath. total nightmare.
My husband parked in front of our truck. cash in hand says what are you doing locking up that horse? Here’s the real big kicker. Jeff had to just take payment — hand paper over and leave. but Noooooo.
Instead Jeff decides that it would be much better to scream lock the door and order one of his workers to run up on a little kid and lock her from her pony. NOW remember. rent is NOT LATE. we have between 1 — 5^th to pay .we work. so we came today (sat). He was PRE-​notified we were there to pay and pickup. yet he pulled this lunatic move. At least we got video of the entire thing. It was raining on us on top of everything else. he tried to call us over to get out of the rain — after pulling all that insanity… and we said no thanks — we didn’t want to be anywhere near him. my kids crying — clinging to me crying why is he doing that to my horse. .
Owner Jeff’s last texts were basically «show me in the contract where you can switch out horses». Yet we switched horses 4 other times this last year in this one stall!!! It doesn’t say I can ride bareback either in the contract. what does that have to do with price of tea in china!.. He basically was saying now I say no because you want to and Im mad at you. so there! SO we left — paid and get nothing for a month payment!
All I did the entire time is film him. P. S He actually made us pay a late fee. said he texted or emailed us in one of his rants and said when someone gives 30 days notice they have to pay by the first (1^st)of them month or its late. by the way this is not in the contract. if you give 30 days notice on the last day or first day of the month your expected to drive from where ever you are and cough up cold hard cash that day or your going to get a late fee. This just to annoy!
He actually tries to say at one point as we get ready to drive away that he tried to work with us during the week. LOL yeah. ok. working with us would be Yes you can switch horses (like many times before) — goodbye end of text/​call. HE did far from that. We said/​paid for the month per the contract and he went out of his way to prevent us from getting what we paid for by stonewalling us about putting another horse in for the remainder of March .
Clearly this guy has been ripped off or pissed people off before. whatever the case — he’s paranoid and difficult. and throws in a little extra if you dare challenge his contract.
A response to new positive post. PLENTY OF NOTICE GIVEN. — Paid in advance for board and left the entire month behind for reasons listed above. yer willing to lie. and spout facts that are not even privy to know. Fake positives posts that only show up because someone told you to post. Nobody is dumb enough to believe a good review right after a bad when nobody’s posted in a year is real or true! Wake up!

Nightmare facility practicing lying and cheating and poor management of horses. Skimpy feeding, I had to bring in my own extras hay as my two horses were not getting enough to eat.
and were loosing weight. The help did not even clean urinated areas out of my mares stall. They said she urinated too much. Unbelievable. Stay clear!!!
What these other reviews said about the contract is true. Manager even forged my initials in a couple places on contract. Didn’t get a copy of my contract for 8 weeks. I could go on and on! Beware of this place if you care about your horse!

Last August, I was invitied to do a practice Documentary regarding Foals, and to meet with two experienced Horse handlers all via word-​of-​mouth, unheard of in the film business.
Aimee is a well-​documented Horse Trainer and rider who took the time to explain anything and everything to me and my bare-​bones crew (3 total) and we felt fortunate and enlightened to this world of Horses.
The care involved for a average Horse takes time, expertise, and money. Aimee and her friend that invited me spend more money because they adopted three (at that time, I heard that they adopted a few more since my visit) Rescue Foals. One had to have emergency surgery, and was kept separated from the others until he is healed.
The grounds were well-​kept, the stalls were freshly maintained, and every indication is that these professionals at CEC are very talented and CARE for the Horses.
Hopefully I can go back sometime and see the great Horses I got to meet then.
