The food used to be awesome. Then they changed their bread and it started going downhill. We used to eat in there a few times a month, to the extent that he knew our order & how we wanted our sandwiches. The last time I was in there he was incredibly rude. The food is good, but I am not going to give my money to someone who is short with their good customers.

This place is one of the best sandwich shops I have ever been to. That includes Delis in NYC, Philadelphia, NJ, Chicago and LA. First of all what Big Time puts in their subs is high quality, local, sliced to order meat. They do not get their meat in a package from China. The cost is reflective of the level of quality. Most people in this region are not accustomed to that and I understand that. If you’re looking for a Subway type commercialized fast food experience this place is not for you. If you want to experience what an authentic small town sandwich counter is supposed to be like made by someone who knows what they’re doing, drop by Big Time.

Their whole wheat is more like a pumpernickel but it is so tasty. They also shave their meats here so it almost melts in your mouth. Definitely worth a visit.
