History

Established in 1996.

Liberty Technology Solutions was founded in 1996 as Liberty Communications & Data. Headquartered in Marlton, New Jersey, a suburban business hub located approximately 10 miles east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Telecom veteran Gerald Gordon headed up the venture that found success in the Inter-​tel telecommunications market which was extremely popular at the time.

In 2001 Liberty Technology Solutions launched a new partnership with Plano, Texas based ESI Communications, a veteran company that was beginning to make waves in business communications.

In 2007 Liberty Technology Solutions posted record sales figures and was recognized by the Technology Assurance Group as a national leader in telecommunication sales growth.

In 2010 rebranded as Liberty Technology Solutions offering a wider array of products to include Data/​IT/​Networking services.

Meet the Business Owner

Gerry G.

Business Owner

Gerry has nearly 30 years of telecommunications industry experience, 16 of which have been as the owner, president & CEO of Liberty. Gerry attended Penn State University, upon completion he began a career in technology where he gained the experience necessary to forge ahead and open Liberty.

Gerry serves as Liberty’s owner and actively participates in outside sales, cabling, and as a technician.

Gerry keeps on the verge of the latest technologies and strategies with constant training, most recently completing TAG’s Strategic Planning Training this past May in Chicago. Gerry has also completed ESI sales and tech training, Inter-​tel sales and tech training, Adtran tech training, Microsoft training, and Hubbell Primes cabling training.

Gerry is a member of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, TAG (Technology Assurance Group), and the Marlton Business Association.

In his time away from Liberty, Gerry enjoys movies, music, skiing, vacationing, church, and spending time with his 3 kids.
