I really enjoy this park, with its gravel paths and scenic views of Boundary Creek. Though the park is on the smaller side(as far as hiking goes), the paths wind through meadow and forest habitats and has areas for bird watching scattered throughout. In addition, informational signs are placed around the park, explaining what kind of animals & plants live here and how hey interact to make an ecosystem. Unlike Pennington, another nearby park, the trails are surrounded by high grasses or trees in the majority of the park, so there is a feeling of peacefulness and isolation here. In addition to the trails, there is a gazebo, a small sitting area, bathrooms, a water fountain, a few scattered park benches, and a really cool human sundial in this park.
