A neuroma is an inflamed nerve that runs between the metatarsal bones. The bones can pinch the nerve and cause pain, numbness, or burning. A planar callus is a buildup of hard skin on the ball on the front underside of the foot. This can feel like a stone bruise.
TREATMENT: the treatment approach varies according to the severity of the problem. In mild cases, shoe ware and orthotic may alleviate some pain. In more severe cases, surgical intervention
