People need to be at this place. It’s pretty NY style as you can achieve our side of … NY. Cool spot but way to far!

Most authentic NY-style pizza I’ve found in Moore-Norman. Nothing fancy, just really good slices. Calzones and Caesar salads are also good. Great prices and specials. I frequent this place often!

Please don’t ever close! Your chicken, mushroom and artichoke pizza is by far the best thing I’ve ever eaten from a pizza place! And kudos for it not being drowned in sauce!!! It’s perfect and the price is so worth it! And this is coming from a long time mazzio pizza lover too!!! Thank you!!!

Be wary of the prices, the guy in front of us was charged a dollar over what the price is labeled which caused us to doublecheck and we were overcharged almost $ 2. Mind you not a huge number but if they are overcharging everyone then it adds up. If the prices increased that’s fine, make sure it is updated. Other than that the food is great but I will be getting a detailed receipt from now on.

We love this place. The pizza slices are bigger then your head and the pasta dishes are great as well!!!

Great place to grab a slice! The pies are reasonably price and usually ready in a timely manner. People shouldn’t go to a PIZZERIA and order lasagna like it’s a world class Italian restaurant, then complain about how it’s not up to their incredibly low Oklahoma standards. Being from NY it was difficult to find anywhere that was even half way worth swallowing but I attempt to make it over to Sandros to grab a slice on the occasion now. If the staff weren’t all 17 year old kids that don’t know the difference between a sausage calzone and a regular calzone(true story) AND if the pizza was thinner so it would actually be NY style as they claim, I would give a 5⁄5. 4⁄5 is still good, especially compared to the Italian food experts that think Ragu is good tomato sauce, swing by there and grab a slice!

Yanno, pizza is a lot like dating… something for everybody out there. There’s so many things to think about… does someone only like a certain race? Height? What about sexual orientation? Do you like guys who treat you like trash? Do you like the hot bitches that take 40 selfies in the bathroom at a club? That’s okay– some people like that kind of thing. Pizza is the same way. Just the same, you might have to try this place out to make your own decision since we might like different things.(I like tall, dark hair, intelligent, funny, and athletic, by the way.) Now, this place is fantastic because they have a whole bunch of different lunch specials that run from 10:30 — 3PM. Everyone loves lunch specials! Pasta or pizza, 3 lunch specials a day. I was in desperate need of pizza at 10AM while in Moore and felt shame as I walked in at 10:35, 5 minutes after they opened. Thankfully they had two pre-baked pies that I could order by the slice. They knew people like me were waiting… Ordered two slices of pepperoni and sausage since it was that or supreme, and these guys will fire it back up for you until it’s melty hot. Poor young guy working at the counter received a suspicious eye from Korean boss lady the whole time. Okay, onto the pizza. This is just not my jam. Remember that conversation about dating and how different people like different things? Some people want to cuddle when they fall asleep while others overheat and want their significant other to stay the hell away. As for pizza, I’m honestly a diehard Empire Slice kinda girl. They have mastered everything good and holy in this world. Midnight meal? Empire Slice. Boyfriend break-up witchu? Empire Slice. If Pope Francis came to OKC, he would say, «Yes, by the power of St Peter… Empire Slice.» The crust here can’t really support the weight of the toppings. Instead, the dough in the center under the toppings tends to just fade into your mouth. It’s not appealing to me, but hey… just because I would totally wear a Spongebob t-shirt from the kids section doesn’t mean that someone else thinks I’m a keeper. Anyway, while the edges of the crust are plenty hearty, their gluten balance just isn’t right for that perfect NY-style chew. I really don’t like the cheese here. It doesn’t have that perfectly stringy texture, and it’s not salted properly. When it’s hot, it’s really thin and runny. I think it has to do with the water content. Anyway, they rely on their sauce for flavor and not the cheese. The sauce is incredibly robust. «Zesty» is the proper word. Seasoned without holding back, and it was one of those experiences where you like it one second but aren’t sure you like it the next.(Add your own joke here) Come give it a try yourself if you are in the neighborhood… Maybe you’ll find that it’s a perfect match for you. As long as you don’t like tall, dark hair, intelligent, funny, and athletic.

It doesn’t get any more delicious than Sandro’s! We followed the advice of a fellow reviewer and order cheesy bread(different than cheese sticks!) and it was amazing. I loved the thinness of the crust so it wasn’t too bread-y. Then we ordered a half/half pizza of Canadian bacon and pineapple on one half and pepperoni on the other half. We also ordered a supreme pizza! I went for the fork and knife method because the slices are really large but my dad and brother just picked up the slices and folded them. On top of the delicious food, the customer service was great too! They brought out our pizzas piping hot and the manager came by to see if we needed anything after we started eating. We will definitely be eating here again!

I had a late lunch so it wasn’t busy at all. I ordered the tortellini alfredo which was very good but it was literally swimming in sauce(see pic). I had to fish out all of the tortellini and still had a full bowl of sauce left after. They could have used ¼ of what they did and it would have still been too much sauce. Besides that, the sauce was excellent. Some of the best alfredo sauce I’ve had in a restaurant. I should have asked for a to go cup and took the rest of it home to put on some pasta. I loved the bread they served with it. It was super light and flaky. It came with a salad and I got the house dressing, which is a tomato vinaigrette. It was ok but I wouldn’t get it again. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’ll stick with ranch. I also ordered a calzone to-go for dinner later. It was excellent too. I just re-heated it in the toaster oven and it tasted as if I had just ordered it. I’ll definitely be back to try their pizza.

Food is good, but the service is very slow and always understaffed. They frequently forget to bring stuff out and seem overwhelmed when asked for it. The Norman location is much better all around.

EVERYTHING about this place is the best! The cheese bread is a must with any meal, even if you order it alone. We order from Sandro’s about once a week on Fridays. We also get a large pepperoni, 4 cheese breads, and a big greek salad. This is true New York style pizza. Everything is very fresh and it’s a clean restaurant to eat in. Go NOW!

Had the baked ziti and thought it was alright, nothing special. Friend said the pizza was alright but not the best. Might try again another time though.

The pizza isn’t that great and the fried mushrooms were way too greasy. Add to that the lack of service and poor selection of drinks and I may be a little too generous with three stars.

When we pulled up and there weren’t many cars we started to get worried but looking at the prices and then trying the food made all the worries wash away! We were able to feed a family of 3 for $ 20 is a great deal! We all have very different tastes when it comes to pizza and this allows us to each get what we want and still not break the bank! We will be back!

The Moore outpost of the best pizza joint in Norman is just as good. It has a large dining room, which is kept clean. The menu is clearly displayed, as are the weekly lunch specials. We arrived at Sandro’s for dinner at around 6:00. There were a half dozen pies in the window from which you can buy slices. It was the usual suspects: cheese, pepperoni, supreme, veggie, sausage, etc. This is a nice option to have at dinner, some places only offer slices at lunch. But, our group went with 3 smalls: pepperoni, black olive, and meatball with spinach. Like Sandro’s in Norman, the crush is crust on the outside and chewy on the inside. It’s classic thin crust pizza. Importantly, the BOTTOM of the crust gets crunchy too, not just the outer crust. So many places have a crunchy outer crunch and the rest of the slice is soggy. Not Sandro’s. The ingredients are fresh, and you get quite a few toppings. I don’t think I would go with more than 3, it would weigh the pizza down. The meatballs in particular are good, they actually taste like seasoned meatballs and not just ground beef put on your pizza. I love spinach as well, I get it on every pizza I order at Sandro’s. The mozzarella cheese sticks are normal frozen fried cheese sticks, but you aren’t at Sandro’s for the cheese sticks. So, while that’s disappointing, I can let it slide given how good the pizza is. No drop in quality from the Norman location to the one in Moore, highly recommended.

New york style pizza hmmm lets see what Sandros is talking about. I had already eaten for the evening, but saw the sign that said new York style pizza. Somehow my tummy mad room for a hot fresh slice of cheese pizza for only $ 2.75. So good. Omg. Taste like a little slice of New York or east coast in Oklahoma. They have pastas & sandwiches. If ever off 19th street in moore you must try the pizza. Unless you’re from Chicago & love deep dish/fork & knife pizza. Lol

Great pizza. Their cheesy bread is the best! The staff is very friendly as well. They could use a larger drink selection but the food is more than worth the limited beverages!

This was a delicious surprise on my way home from the Warren late on a Friday night. I needed food and I needed it fast, and Sandros came up as an open restaurant in the area. It was about 9:30 pm and they whipped up a fresh wood fired«white» pizza for me in just a few minutes. The staff was super friendly and I was happy to see I wasn’t the only customer in the joint that late. The pizza was OMG delicious, and I’ll definitely be back to sample as much of their menu as my waistline allows for!
