Dr. Matthew J. Conquest practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from facial trauma to wisdom tooth removal. He has particular interest in dental implants, bone grafting/​reconstruction, and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Conquest is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also an active Fellow of both the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

History

Established in 2015.

Conquest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery opened its practice doors in June of 2015. Our practice philosophy, as established on day one, is relatively simple: «Strive to provide exceptional, affordable, and professional care and deliver this care in a compassionate and timely fashion, treating each patient as an individual.» This is not simply a «mission statement,» this is the philosophy by which we operate daily as we try to treat every patient as we would our own family members.

Dr. Conquest was born and raised in Flushing, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Lake Superior State University in 2001 and his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. Upon graduation, he was awarded membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Conquest was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. He then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. This residency program provided Dr. Conquest with advanced training in all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on the management of hospital based patients. Dr. Conquest was then ordered to Norfolk, Virginia where he had the unique experience of serving as a Dental Officer for two years aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise.
