History

Established in 2011.

MAAL believes that each child is a unique individual and that all children can learn. However, they don’t all learn in the same ways or at the same rate. Our school and educators recognize children’s varied abilities, interests, needs and learning styles and our goal is to create confident learners. Amber Gardner, founder of MAAL, saw a need that was not being met in Montrose, and created a school to help children thrive through a new method of teaching. Small class sizes and a flat organization structure allow teachers the opportunities to quickly adapt and adopt new new technologies and teaching strategies.
