Emin’s Air Conditioning and Heating started in 2005 with a mission to provide quality air conditioning and heating services. We strive to provide cost effective and efficient solutions to all air conditioning and heating related issues and problems. In addition, we aim to service our clients in a manner and time frame that meets their needs and expectations.

I started working with my great uncle after high school and fell in love with the science and mechanics of air conditioning and heating. After high school, I attended Mt. San Antonio College and successfully completed several classes. I was chosen by one of my instructors to work in his family owned business. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience from this experience. I started Emin’s Air Conditioning and Heating in 2005. My motivation is seeing the satisfaction on my clients faces when I solve their comfort related issues. I enjoy solving problems. The growth of my business is due to the fact that I truly enjoy working on air conditioning and heating equipment and interacting with clients. I also enjoy learning about new technologies and issues in the air conditioning and heating industry. As such, I attend continuing education courses and seminars whenever I can. I strive to treat all my clients as I would like to be treated myself.

Emin and his crew did a great job fixing the heater at my house. It was a big job and he was determined to figure out the issue and come up with the best possible solution. He walked me through step by step on what was wrong, how to fix it, and again, after the job was done, what they’ve done and how they fixed it. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

This post is very overdue because the services was provided over the summer but better late than never. =)
There was a pretty severe leak coming out of the central air unit and it was a record heat week that week so it was nearly impossible to find any HVAC companies to come out and help service my unit. I tried to call companies that didn’t have too many reviews (less popular but still highly rated) but no luck, everyone was busy.
Crazy thing was I had forgotten I used Emins a few years ago and was in fact the 1st to review him on Unilocal.Since my 1st review, Emin has built quite a business for himself with solid 4.5 stars and tons of reviews so I figured there was no way anyone could come help me out. But I thought it was interesting that I was the 1st to review him so I thought I’d work with that angle and give it a shot.
Emin came on the phone and was like totally happy and grateful to talk with me. He personally came out that day and was so gracious and thorough with his work. He charges more now than when he 1st serviced my unit but I am happy his well-​deserved business is booming and doing well.
Even though I feel like he gave me extra special services because he was grateful that I wrote that 1st review, I honestly feel like his company is superb anyway and that’s why they’ve been so successful.
So if you need a job-​well done you can trust this company. He was like only $ 20 or $ 30 more than the other companies. Not a huge difference for the security of knowing a job is done right imho.

Thank you Emins for contacting me. This review was awhile back. Yes you do have a message machine. I talked to the girl and yes she later gave me an appointment. You sent a young man to my condo in Alhambra! He overcharge me a lot! I had a small leak that he wasn’t able to find. So what he did was inject a sealer into the lines and then he added freon. Just that and he charge me $ 750. I later had someone else look at my unit and all it was, was the condensation line was clog. The guy clean it out and the unit work fine.

I’m thrilled to leave this review; I left a message on Sunday after my air conditioner when out over a scorching weekend. Emin called me back and arranged to be at my house 1st thing Monday morning.
I can’t imagine a more positive air conditioner repair experience. Professional, polite, and informative– they diagnosed my issue and had it fixed and running as new in minutes.
I love supporting local businesses and Emin’s Air Condition Repair has earned my loyalty and they will be me first call when something arises again.

I called Emins because the reviews looked so good on Unilocal.They were basically on time. The service call was for a unit that was over 30 years old. Emin explained all of the options. He said one option was to to fill the unit with freon. I asked lots of questions to see if it was a viable option. I asked Emin the possibility that it would work. He said it would be a 50 50 chance of working. And there was no guarantee that it would last or for an extended period. I appreciated his honesty. He could have said there is a «good chance» of it working, but he was honest. I decided not to go ahead, and I would use him in the future.

I have used Emins air conditioning twice now and both times I have received excellent service! Emin is so honest and won’t sell you anything that you don’t need, which is rare in this business. I will never call another air conditioner company other than Emins air conditioning!
The first time Emin came to my house he gave me a quote for ductless mini splits and after getting a couple other quotes I called Emin. Not only did his price beat out the others his quality of work was amazing! His guys are friendly and knowledgeable and hardworking. I received excellent customer service from the office too! This was such a great experience that I called him again when my air conditioner stopped working (in the middle of a heat wave no less). Once again Emin came out with in a day and fixed my air conditioner! I was sure I would have to have a whole new unit, and told him that, but when he arrived he said he could just fix my current one and said he would never sell me something that I didn’t need! I appreciate that comment so much, because I was ready to just buy a new one and I didn’t need to!
I can’t say enough about how amazing Emin and his company are! I have found my AC company for life :)! I highly recommend you use Emin’s Air Conditioning

I contacted another HVAC company prior to contacting Emin’s company. This was during a heatwave and the other company couldn’t send someone out until over a week later. With Emins, he was able to come over within the next 2 days. He arrived with another person and within 30 minutes, fixed the AC and changed the air filter. Emins said there was a 30 day warranty with the service so should the AC break within the next 30 days, he will stop by to fix it free of charge. The total price was less than what was previously quoted when I set up the appointment. I was very happy with the service Emins and his worker provided.

After a very long and hot Friday, my air conditioner released an odor of burning plastic. I got in touch with admin at 7:30 AM the following morning and he fit me into his schedule within a couple of hours.
Emin came out with his partner and was able to diagnose the problem as a burned circuit board. Fortuitously, he had the Official circuit board in his truck and was able to replace everything in about 10 minutes.
After running the air conditioner successfully for a few minutes, Emin and his partner went out to recharge my Freon levels. In and out very fast.
Excellent service. Excellent price. Would use again!

Emin’s is awesome. If you have an air conditioning issue — just get this guy. He’s one of the ones you make sure to mark his entry in your phone — THIS is the guy for AC.
I don’t ever really review anything. But when someone saves you a bunch of money and goes out of their way to make sure everything is as good as it can be late on a Friday night during a heatwave where the dude must be exhausted — you just want to see him succeed. I should’ve written this 3 years ago when he saved me from having to replace a circuit board — he was a second opinion and it was clear the first guys (a big nationwide chain of aircon people) were likely up selling me something I didn’t need. It was clear then that Emin was a local guy who had my best interests at heart because he wants good word of mouth locally. He’s a small biz guy who wants people to use him again if they need him so he goes out of his way to do the best possible job. Well we needed him again tonight and the guy came out late on a Friday — couple hours after I called (his nice wife answering and making double sure I knew he was coming by calling back a little later) — and did his thing… Saving us from a weekend of insane heat. He’s one of the keepers. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Emin serviced the central a/​c system at my previous home a couple times when it wasn’t working. He has shown himself to be an honest guy that gives good advice even if it means no additional work for him. Emin understands that gaining a customer for life is more important than trying to cash in on a service call. Most recently he proved this to me again when he came to my new house. Water had been leaking through the air return during heavy rain that we got recently. We went on the roof and Emin walked me through how to easily fix it myself which would be much cheaper. He gave me some tips on the central system and I will absolutely call him again when the time comes.

So they were late! But they called and notified me of their delay. That assured me they take the time to do the job right. When they arrived they were courteous and efficient. I feel confident I have finally found my AC service repair guy. Their pricing was very fair. I will definitely be bookmarking them and using them if anything should happen in the future and for routine maintenance.

Emin’s is the best choice if you need air conditioning service or a full install. I picked them for their 5 star reviews but I am always apprehensive with contractors. As most people, I have had the experience of more often than them being of poor skills or making promises they don’t or can’t keep. With Emin, he always followed through both with equipment promises and almost more importantly, with his time frames. They even finished a day early.
As for the skill set, all his guys were of the best I have hired. Typically I have to keep an eye on the contractors because I am pretty picky with things being straight, symmetrical, etc. After a couple days I learned I didn’t have to watch their every move because they didn’t take short cuts. Me and my wife even left home and let them do their thing with complete trust.
At the end of the install (which was a new four ton ac and a split system in another part of the house) I realized I was happy with everything. Usually there is at least one thing I didn’t like that a contractor did. With Emin’s, everything was perfect. The duct work bordered on artistic.
I highly recommend this company. They definitely have the small business feel and made us feel important instead of just another job.

It’s really simple. I had 2 other companies come to my house and «examine» my system. They all said instantly I had a leak and that I can pay them 800+ to find the leak and «hopefully» fix it or replace a new system. I told this story to Emin as he arrived at my condo and he said it happens and it does cost money to find the leak etc. it’s never covered with the intiial 85 $+ that you pay as a call out. So I told Emin if he can fix it, fix it but if he can’t I’ll still go with him and change out my system. I said this because the first 2 guys that came basically came in with the mentality that they didn’t know if I should change out the system or just find a leak. Well in the end… in the absolute end, it wasn’t a leak that made my AC system lose cold. It was the capacitor.
This is ridiculous… I almost spent 5500 $-6000 $. Don’t get me wrong I am totally willing to do that if necessary but Emin pretty much trouble shooted from a very simple standpoint. It took him literally 15 min to tell me hey your compressor isn’t turning on some freon and a new capacitor and boom 550 $ back in business. He just got me as a client for life. Boom. Trust and believe me I will be using him for a lot more business.
He’ll take care of you and he’ll look before he starts trying to sell you a system. He was the only person that didn’t want to talk about changing out the entire system and wanted to check the system before he started opening his mouth about changing a system.

We had another problem with our AC unit and called Emins again. As expected, it was another great experience. He showed up exactly when he said he would and quickly found and fixed the problem. I asked him to review our systems to check for any other issue… many AC people would start foaming at the mouth when a customer said that, knowing they had a great chance to up-​sell a bunch of stuff. Not Emins… other than replacing some very dirty filters, he was honest and straight forward.

I called up Emin yesterday based solely on the Unilocal reviews and his 5 stars from 98 reviews. A friendly lady answered, took my details and said that he’d be able to fit me in between 9:30 and 11 today.
Around 9:40 Emin turned up and introduced himself. A really nice guy. He was able to diagnose the problem with a blown capacitor. Swapped out the piece and I was back up and running. He also checked the filters and coolant level and I was good-​to-​go.
Polite, clean, friendly and quick.
He also sent my my receipt via email so no lost paper work. I’ll be recommending him to my friends in the area.
