Aladdin is just awesome: Rugs, Interior Design, you name it!
I just moved to Chicago and needed to furnish my high rise — Aladdin came to the rescue.
Mo showed me a bunch of catalogues of local partners and I did some initial work with the styles before working with him on specific pieces.
The best part of the experience was getting honest feedback. On more than one occasion, Mo steered me in creative directions to ensure consistency with themes we were trying to hit, while ensuring a differentiated feel. To top it off, he extended great pricing and thanks to him, my place looks gorgeous!
I have to say I have always come to expect «service with a smile» with these guys — absolutely great doing business here.

Amin has been at this location for years and they are great to do bus. with. Their carpets are the best with a great selection. Now the son has taking over and he is extremely helpful.

We bought a few rugs from this place about a month ago. Love the staff, they are all extremely helpful and friendly. They even offered us to take a few rugs home to try without putting any downpayment which is quite amazing to me. Thank you Dr. Amin and Mo for the wonderful rugs and the friendship that came out of it.

Being an Interior Designer for over ten years I have had a lot of experiences with rug vendors and Mo and his team have far surpassed my expectations! I needed to fill an entire house with rugs in a short amount of time and within a certain budget and they made it happen for me. They are very enthusiastic about the rugs they sell and I trust their expert opinions. If they don’t have what you are looking for, give them a little bit of time and they will find it for you. Its nice to have such a trusty source.

My husband and I have purchased a total of five carpets from Aladdin Carpet’s and never have We been disappointed with their excellent customer service, pricing and a big selection of carpets to choose from.
I highly recommend them if you are looking to purchase an area rug, you will not be disappointed. This is a family owned and operated business and you feel like your at home when you walk –in.
I live 40 minute away from there business and it does not bother us in the least to drive the distant because we know we will get great service.

I needed a new rug for my living room and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Since they were locale I thought I would check it out. They had a large selection and also had more to order that would come in, in a week. There was no high pressure salesmen. What nice guys. they delivered what they promised. Now I’m going to get another one. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. No pressure, good selection, great prices. I didn’t know them before my purchase. This is an honest review.

I have only great things to say about this place. We have made purchases and/​or gotten rugs cleaned twice from this place and just had a great experience doing business with them.

Aladdin Rugs came to my rescue when I had a specific idea for a new family room rug and had searched high and low to no avail. I needed to return one I bought online when it began showing wear in week 2. Amin and Mo packed the faulty rug and shipped it back for me. They worked tirelessly to find the right custom made modern rug for my newly redecorated room. The design they came up with fits the room beautifully! I couldn’t be happier with their service, expertise, and how they found the perfect rug for me! See the picture I posted here for proof.

I recently purchased several rugs from here and I just truly want to give them the stars they deserve! The customer service I received was outstanding. I cant say enough good things about them… I was treated extremely well and the man really worked with my budget. Very highly recommended if you are looking for beautiful, quality area rugs and area rug cleaning service. The proprietors & their staffs are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and stand by yheir products and services! I have purchased an area rug from them and very happy with it! Most of all I am very satisfied with their area rug cleaning service as my Persian carpet was cleaned and restored to its new condition! This is superior service and I have committed myself to be a lifetime customer! I was turned on to Aladdin Rugs by my Priest (so you know God loves this place too). Honestly, when I first walked in last summer, I thought I could never afford this place as I am a high school English teacher, but, lo and behold, I could. I bought a machine made beautiful wool rug for my living room for an extremely affordable price and the best thing is that it is unique. My living room has a Mission, Craftsman style and it looks like that period. Then Mo and Amin showed me a used Kilm rug which was pricey (for me) but greatly reduced as it was GENTLY used!!! It is absolutely a piece of art and I put it under my kitchen table.
Now I just finished remodeling my guest room and needed two beautiful runners for alongside the bed. I looked everywhere… from the big box stores to numerous online sites. I literally spent 3 months looking for rugs which were well made and not more than $ 100-​$ 175 — I mean it is a guest room!
Everything looked so much like everything else and the ones that appealed to me were way out of my price range. But, again, I went to Aladdin this past week and found two incredibly beautiful 7 feet long silk runners right in my price range!
Finally, this place is totally word of mouth. They don’t «need no stinking advertisements» to convince you of the quality and beauty of their rugs. The owners have been in this family business a long time and their knowledge and expertise shines through. They are friendly and extremely helpful no matter if you are purchasing a $ 10,000 Persian or a $ 130 runner. I have never written a review for Unilocal before and probably never will again but I HAD TO WRITE THIS ONE. I love this place and hopefully you will check it out.

I bought my first rug today and Aladdin Rugs helped me chose the perfect rug for our home. They really know their products and made me feel very welcome. I highly suggest taking a photo of the room with you and they will make great suggestions to help you decide which rug will look best. I walked away knowing I will definitely go back.

The selection of Persian rugs at Aladdin is vast, and the owners and staff are very knowledgeable about the products. They were easy to work with, great listeners, and helped us find just the right rug to meet our needs, including trading one we originally brought home but that didn’t quite fit the space. Amazing service, selection and quality. I bought a rug online on Overstock and loved the design, but was so disappointed when it started shedding all over the place (and was itchy). Enter Mo and Aladdin rugs who helped me find the perfect rug for our space that doesn’t shed and is soooo soft. My 1 year old frequently lays on it for fun. I can’t wait to get a house so I can buy 10 more. Thanks MO!

If I could give this store 10 stars, I would. I have walked by and driven by this store a million times, and it wasn’t until recently we actually needed a rug.
The minute I walked in I was AMAZED at the number of rugs they have.
Every size, every color, every style… And (my favorite part) every cost.
I thought my husband and I would be rug shopping forever — especially because he is so picky.
Once we walked in, I knew we were not going to leave without a rug. There was no good reason to go home without one.
The customer service is phenomenal. Our sales person, Mo walked us through the different rugs. In no more than two minutes Mo had us figured out. He knew what colors we liked and what our style was. We didn’t need to waste any time at all, because he walked us through all the things we would probably like.
We were only there for a short time, but the family that runs this place is so warm and welcoming, I could have stayed for hours!

I’m not a rug expert but I know what I don’t want, if you know what I mean. With that said, the owners son –I forgot his name and its not on the business card– was VERY helpful and educated me on his inventory, then he guided me towards the rugs in my budget.
He was knowledgeable, no games or bullshit. He even offered me 100% money back if I wasn’t pleased with the piece in my house. I’m not talking about store credit. If he doesn’t have something I want to buy he will give me my money back either by check or cash — no hassle.
It was such a refreshing and pleasant experience to work with a company that genuinely cares about their customer. A little bit of a pain-​in-​the-​ass to drive outside LA but well worth the trek.
I picked up an amazing 80 year-​old Persian rug at wholesale price!!!
They have bought a customer for life.

My wife and I bought a lovely Mahi rug (made in Tabriz) from this store more than 10 years ago. Since then, we go in every four months or so to get one or another of our rugs cleaned or repaired. (We go about an average of 2 – 3 years between cleanings for any given rug.) Mr. Amin’s work on our rugs has always been exceptional, and the repairs he has has done for us have brought several of our favorite rugs back into top condition. We have been to several of the most highly-​recommended rug cleaners in the LA area over the years. Compared to them his prices are reasonable and his work is far better. He has been unfailingly polite, welcoming, and straightforward with us. I look forward to continuing our relationship with him, and to buying more rugs from him when we move into a bigger place! We recommend him most highly!
As for Carolyn L.‘s claims, I have never experienced anything remotely like this in ten years of dealing with Mr. Amin and Aladdin Rugs. Perhaps she’s confused this business with some other store?

I have known this business and it’s owner Mr. Amin for more than 15 years. They offer the finest Persian hand woven rugs in the most reasonable prices. When it comes to repair and cleaning of antic rugs, their service is second to none, they have been in the fine rugs business for generations. Several of my relatives and friend have done business with this establishment and all of them are very satisfied of their dealings. The owner is a pleasant person with a great sense of humor and it is a real fun to converse with him.

I really wish Unilocal would allow for half-​star increment ratings. If they would, this business would get a 3 ½ star rating from me. It’s definitely a step above «A-​OK» but I don’t think I’d go as far as to say, «Yay! I’m a fan,» either.
I’ll start by saying that this family-​owned business has a very wide selection of rugs — from exquisite rugs that could be displayed in a museum to everyday rugs that could be used in a kid’s room, there’s generally something to be had at every price point. That’s a definite plus. That said, if you are looking for something very specific, you might not find what you’re looking for. I came in looking for an area rug and specifically wanted it to have a silver sheen. They didn’t have any that were silver per-​se, but had a few silk viscose rugs that had a sheen to them, so I ended up bringing one home. It didn’t really work for the room I initially selected it for, but thankfully ended up working pretty well for another room. I probably would have returned the rug if I could, but Aladdin Rugs does not have a return policy. As it was explained to me, customers may exhange their rugs with one of equal or greater value, but it is not their policy to accept returns.
I ended up getting a silver rug for the room I was originally shopping for at H.D. Buttercup, which does have a 7-​day return policy (for the record).
