The Lattice Inn is an award-winning and unique bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Montgomery’s historic Garden District, near the Governor’s Mansion, and the intersection of I-65 and I-85. Since 1993, The Lattice Inn has provided an exceptional lodging experience in a tastefully updated 1906-era cottage. The four guest suites feature free Wi-Fi, HDTV* with AppleTV, fridge, microwave, DVD/CD player, MP3/iPod docking clock radio, hair dryer, and king-size bed. Other amenities include a business center, hot tub, Koi pond, intimate garden areas, and a salt water pool. Guests seldom want to leave once they’ve been pampered by our thoughtful amenities and attention to detail throughout The Inn. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Meet the Business Owner
Jim Y.
Business Owner
Jim Yeaman came to the role of Owner and Innkeeper at The Lattice Inn after a successful career in organization management and public relations. He holds a degree in Film, Radio & TV from Auburn University.
In 1968, he moved to Montgomery was as the first full-time director of the City’s convention and visitors bureau.
Active over the years in the civic and professional life of Montgomery, Jim served as President of the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club as well as Chairman of the City’s Historic Development Commission. He was the CEO of Horizons Management Group, an association management company.
His first assignment in Chicago was as the Associate General Secretary for Membership Services at Rotary International. Prior to the acquisition of The Lattice Inn and his return to Montgomery in 2007, he was CEO of The JOY Group, a property management company that specialized in the management of small to medium sized residential condominium properties on Chicago’s north shore.
