Myers was sent out by our home warranty company to address a drain blockage. The technician came out and stated that our home did not have a ground-level clean out. He would need another tech to go with him on the roof to rod the roof vent ($ 225) or install a clean out on the side of the house ($ 1200). I was surprised that we did not have a clean out, so I called another plumber for a second opinion.
Our house in fact has two clean outs: one clearly visible in the front yard, and another under the sink in question (that was shown to the Myers technician).
We got the issue resolved by the second company to our satisfaction (for less than $ 100) and will not be using Myers Comfort Specialists again.
