Superb Tutors offers one-​on-​one tutoring to work on each student’s individual goals. We focus on middle school, high school, and college students, providing tutors with outstanding subject mastery and ability to bring that knowledge to their students. Our tutors meet their students in-​home or in a comfortable café or library to study together.

Started in 2007 by a UCSD graduate in Molecular Biology — Sum Cum Laude, Superb Tutors has grown to cover math, chemistry, physics, engineering, and language arts. Today we work with dozens of professional tutors and help students throughout Monterey. We also have locations in Davis and San Diego.

Meet the Business Owner

Christina V. and Justin S.

Business Owner

Justin and Christina, both graduates from University of California schools, have been working with advanced students and tutors for over three years. Justin (Summa Cum Laude, UCSD, Molecular Biology 2006) started the business in 2007 after working with a San Diego-​based pharmaceutical company. Since then, the business expanded from science-​based tutoring to offer middle school, high school, and university-​level support in all subjects, including thesis advising for graduating social science and humanities students. Christina’s (UCSC, Politics, 2006) professional legal and business background has helped Superb Tutors reach struggling and determined students, and Superb Tutors now offers approximately 40 educators for its students. In 2008, Superb Tutors expanded to the Monterey Bay Peninsula and in 2010 expanded to the UC Davis area as well.
