Jennifer Church’s Excellent Focus Photography

Jennifer and her staff are so so good! They’re always on time and prepared too! They get down and dirty for whatever to get the best shot you are looking for! My wife and I are lucky to have booked her for our engagement shoot and wedding and both sets came out amazing! We had two photographers for our wedding (Jennifer and one of her employees, I am sorry that I forgot her name) and they were able to get all the angles for our wedding and reception. She made sure that we got all the pictures we wanted. I mean that she asked us what type of photos we wanted, either in style, pose, etc. and who we wanted to take photos with and of. Now we have pictures of literally everyone, with everyone, and just couple pictures from the whole day. It was such a pleasure to work with you Jennifer!

We had the unfortunate luck of booking a photographer that cancelled on us 5 hours before our shoot. I was highly suspicious he partied too hearty the night before because we received a lame text instead of a proper call. My fiancé and I scrambled to make some cold calls to local Monterey photographers, and luckily, we found Jennifer! Coincidentally, she had a cancellation that day so we were able to book her last minute. Her prices were very reasonable, considering the package included all digital prints and the rights. And most importantly, her turnaround time for posting the proofs online for review was amazing! I would highly recommend her services to anyone and everyone. =)

You will not be disappointed! Jennifer and her assistant are fantastic. Fun to work with and lots of patience. I have a crazy family. She was also very good with our dog who was at the wedding. We were married on 12÷13÷14 in Carmel Valley, outside. I just received my CD’s in the mail and to my surprise every picture was on there. Originally I thought it would be just a select few. The pictures are just beautiful! I wish I had more wall space! Thank You Jennifer!

My husband and I had our engagement photos done in October 2013 and we were married on the beach in Carmel on 6-​1-​2014.
We had such a FANTASTIC experience with Jennifer as our photographer for our engagement photos, so it was obvious that we needed her for our wedding!
I was pretty stressed out when my bridal party was running late for picture time, but Jennifer and her assistant Sarah were great at keeping people on track. And they both made us feel so comfortable, they ended up feeling like family by the end of the night.
Right before I walked down the aisle, my train needed to be fixed and I hadn’t noticed. However, Sarah noticed and had me pause for just a second while she fluffed it for me! I never really notice the little things until I see the pictures, so it was really nice to have people who cared about my wedding pictures just as much as I do!
Jennifer was our personal hero during the reception. No joke! The DJ announced the end of our families toasts before they were supposed to be finished. Jennifer asked us who else was supposed to give a toast and immediately, but quietly, went up to the DJ and told him so he could hand off the mic to my father! My husband looked at me and said, «Wow, I don’t know what we would have done without her!» Totally our hero!
I can’t say enough about how awesome Jennifer and Sarah are! And the pictures! Stunning!!! We’re in love with our pictures and everything these ladies did. Thank you Jennifer!!! Thank you Sarah!!!

I was the Mother of the Bride… and couldn’t recommend Jennifer and her staff more! We totally enjoyed working with her through the entire event. When things got tense or crazy, she was the voice of «relax»… she got all the photos we wanted, knew the right spots at the venue and our pre-​wedding choice venue. My husband and I got married at the Monterey Plaza Hotel on 9÷14÷2013 and Jennifer was our photographer. She was AWESOME! She kept us on track, along with the wedding party. My best friend got married on the beach in Carmel about a week ago and Jennifer was her photographer. She was really great to work with. She got pictures of the bride & grooms families, posing them traditionally but also in some that were just cute and fun. She did the same with the bridal party. Her assistant, Sara, was really sweet as well. They both had a smile on the whole day which made working with them much more comfortable. My best friend also used her for their engagement photos and they came out beautiful. We all have nothing but good things to say and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a photographer.

We booked our wedding with Wedgewood Carmel and Jennifer was their preferred photographer. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Her pricing was very reasonable and she was willing to swap some items in our package for something else since we didn’t need them. The best part? Jennifer did an amazing job capturing our wedding on film. She was friendly and professional, knew exactly how to transition from one moment to the next and really did a great job taking care of us on the day of. We also did our engagement shoot with her and she was totally flexible with our locations and timing. We first met Jennifer at a friend’s wedding last year and we saw what a wonderful job she did on that wedding I immediately thought of her for our own wedding this year. Jennifer took our wedding photos and we were so pleased with they way the photos came out. She was professional, pleasant, and flexible with our schedule and offered different pricing packages to fit our budget. She was willing to come outside of her usual Monterey Peninsula area to do our photography and she did an excellent job capturing our wishes!

It was back in 2008 that we booked Jennifer to do our wedding photos– even to this day, we love sharing our photos with everyone and enjoy looking back at that precious day. She was very professional– but not stiff– she makes you feel relaxed and at times we forgot she was even there taking pictures. She took plenty of shots of everyone that we wanted and I think every photo came out excellent. The price of the packages we choose was very comparable and we would definitely recommend her if you are in the Monterey/​Carmel area. We plan on using her again for our 10 year wedding anniversary (even though its a few years away!)
