Dr. Howard is probably a great doctor but I will never know because his office staff is horrible. My daughter was injured in a car accident and Dr. Howard was recommended so I contacted his office and scheduled a visit for May 8, 2014 by Jackie (his office lady). The visit was scheduled about 1 ½ weeks in advance and the office personnel were supposed to contact my insurance company and pre-​approve payment under direct pay. I received a phone call less than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled visit and was told the scheduled appointment had never been actually finalized because the Doctors office personnel failed to contact my insurance company (State Farm) but we could make another schedule sometime in the future. Meanwhile, my daughter has pain and suffering and held off going to see another doctor because she wanted to see Dr. Howard on the scheduled appointed date. Jackie initially talked to my wife and daughter then refused to even answer the phone or return any calls. This is unacceptable and we will not use Dr. Howard now or anytime in the future. That is sad because he could be a very good doctor. I guess we will never know.

Dr. Howard performed an anterior 3 level cervical disc fusion on me 6 weeks ago. I believe that if you need a back surgeon, you cannot do any better than Dr. Howard. He is so very experienced and as professional as they come. His staff is also wonderful. Back surgery is not something that any of us want to have, but if we do we want the best surgeon possible to be operating on us. Dr. Howard meets that level and more.
