Very nice Dr, very friendly I have to get another Dr. due to the rudeness of her receptionist Sara, I got this complaint to Dr. Bassiri attention numerous time, and nothing was done, it got to the point the I was getting stress out just to call the office and talk to her rude and unpleasant receptionist name Sara !

Office staff is not very helpful!

She is amazing, listens and gives great information. Her manner is gentle and knowledgeable. I always feel at ease with her.

Love Dr. Bassiri… adorable. She has kept my thyroid in check for years. She is listed/​rated as one of the best around. I really appreciate how efficiently the front office is ran.

I’m really hoping to change this review soon. I’ve been trying to get an appointment with Dr. Bassiri’s office for over a month now. Repeated calls go unreturned and they wouldn’t set up an initial visit without all my previous records even though I’m not sure she is the one I want to go with. I’m giving this office one more shot and hoping to cancel this poor review and replace it with a good one.

I hesitate to share how wonderful Dr. B is. It might make getting an appointment more difficult. I second all the wonderful comments made by previous posters. She is proactive, caring, competent, and takes time to listen and get to the bottom of what is going on with her patients. She sees how all the pieces of your health profile fit together and works with you to make informed decisions and work on positive outcomes. If I could replace all my doctors with Dr. B, I would. She is incredible.

Dr. Bassiri helped me tremendously a few years ago when I found I had growths on my thyroid. Like one of the reviews below says, she listens to every single word during your sessions and types in everything into your file. I recently skipped my annual appointment and, out of the blue, she mentioned that fact to a friend of mine that is also her patient. I thought that was so wonderful, that she remembered to ask my friend about me and my health. Needless to say, I’ve since called and will go in (like a good patient) and have my checkup. She is truly a terrific physician and has a wonderful bedside manner. You’ll be happy you’ve chosen her to meet your health needs.

Simply put — she is AWESOME! I am so thankful to have found her. Dr. Bassiri not only listens, she really does care about you as a person and not just a patient. Everything that Tricia wrote, I agree with and then some.

Dr Bassiri is the BEST !! She is so caring and up to date in the latest treatments available. Whenever I have had an issue and I’ve left a message, she has always gotten right back to me herself… I trust her with all stages of my Thyroid disease… You will be so glad that you picked her for your Dr.

On my fist appointment I went in and discussed everything I knew about my current health situation with Dr. Bassiri. I was self referred, so she really had to start from day one with me based on whatever I could tell her as a non-​medical professional. Being a nervous chatty girl that I am, I talked for probably 15 minutes straight… and she typed it all down! I was amazed, I’ve never had a doctor do this before. She was and is so nice to me and understanding of all my concerns and questions.
I would recommend anyone go to her with their thyroid problems. She’s still very connected with UCSF (where she got her degree) and will give you her honest opinions if you ask for them. She spends a long time during her appointments being personal with you, and if you call her and leave a message at her office she will PERSONALLY call you back and discuss issues with you over the phone.
I’m so glad I picked her off the list!
