Drain A Way

I called 2 days prior and scheduled Drain A Way to come out. They were quick and solved my minor problem under our bathroom sink quite easily. The cost was not bad and I will use them again!

Wow, easy to book, called with a 30 minute «hey we’re on our way», and were in and out in a flash! Very reasonably priced work, and gave me some information that the landlord wasn’t able to even tell me about where shut offs were for the whole house!

They got out to my house within 30 minutes, cleared my drains cleaned up better than it was before and were gone within the hour. I would absolutely recommend DRAIN A WAY and any problems I have the future they will definitely be my first call. My mother recommended them to me because she had a great experience with them also. Then looking on Unilocal I see nothing but 5 star rating. And after dealing with them I understand why.

Tato and Brandon are wonderful. I needed a new kitchen faucet installed. It was done in less than an hour. Tato always gives great advice. This time it was run your tub not a sink after turning the water back on. I would have went for the kitchen sink. If you want plumbers they are your gentleman. I recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. Prices are very reasonable. Thank you.

These guys are the greatest. They are always on time, ever cheerful, know what they are doing and are as honest as can be. I have been using them for over 10 years to deal with tree root issues and couldn’t be happier with the service.

Thank you so much Mr. Tato Riquetti, wife Maria and son! We had a stoppage in our main sewer line. They were very friendly, clean, neat, professional, tidy, fast, efficient, and shared their knowledge and recommendations. Wow! Rockstars! At this time, they charge $ 75 per hour for a stoppage clearance. Oh my Gosh! We have paid other plumbers that much, just to show up! Then, we have paid other «handymen» and big plumbing companies over $ 200 plus, to get the same job done. Plumbing fears always sends our blood pressure up. Same for Mechanics! These honest men took care of our plumbing issue straight away, with a positive attitude and fair price. They are very busy, but please be patient and you will be blessed too! I am so relieved, we finally found this family business.

Tato and his son Brandon showed up punctually at the scheduled time. I had a stopped up bathtub and they fixed it with a motorized snake. I stayed to watch and got a few good tips on maintaining my plumbing. They’re both friendly and competent. I’ll call them again.

Tato and his son were very professional and they do GREAT work. I had to reschedule my appointment several times due to the countertop delivery being delayed. Maria was so patient and accommodating that it was almost embarrassing. LOL.
Anyway, they know what they are doing and they tested out everything before they left. This gave me a good feeling. They also worked well with other contractors who were working in the kitchen. Many times, contractors take a confrontational approach towards each other, but this company is very professional. I should add that Tato explained how some new features worked when he installed water to my dishwasher, Refrigerator and sink.

I called in to get my bathtub drain cleared. They were able to come the next day which was great. They also were the cheapest plumber I could find for the job. They were prompt, quick and professional. The job was done well and has not shown any sign of slow draining since. They were also very nice. I definitely recommend them.

What an awesome team! Yesterday I was scheduled for an appliance delivery and install. When the company came they told me there was a pipe problem and to call a plumber to fix it so they could return to install the appliance. I contacted Drain-​a-​Way (tried a number of other plumbers and only got answering machines) and was able to schedule a same day appointment for not only fixing the pipe but also to do the install! The entire procedure was done the same day for a very reasonable price! And, when the appliance didn’t fit the space perfectly, they were able to find a way to make it fit beautifully and securely without any problems!

These guys are great. A father son team who just came over and fixed our drain. On time, fixed the problem quickly and easily, very friendly, and most importantly cleaned the sink and tub when they were done. They are dog lovers too which never hurts.

Just used Drain-​a-​Way for the first time, based on their Unilocal reviews. They were great. Just a simple job of snaking a drain, but I also asked them to look at a kitchen sink faucet that had a stripped handle, and they really went the extra mile on that with no extra charge. They identified the model number by doing some research online, found out it had a lifetime warranty, and left me the model number and phone number to get a replacement.
On top of that, they were incredibly nice. I would definitely recommend giving them a call if you need a plumber in the Monterey area.
