its very good place .I hope to make this a long term experience and another branch of family since the vibe is totally and everyone is so cool

Excellent and patient instructors for students of all ages. My 6 year old daughter loves coming here with one of her friends from school. The environment is peaceful, clean, and very positive, and the children learn more than just martial arts.

During the middle of a session, i don’t know about others but for one, i am glad that the teacher stays focused on teaching the students. Giving them his full attention until the class is over. Even though I was the one who popped in, interrupting their class. However since they don’t have a person to manage the desk on the side, i agree it might be helpful to have a flyer you can take near the back door with the basic schedule & pricing info.
Prior to coming here after reading some reviews, one didn’t make any sense to me. A person putting a negative review on a place they haven’t taken their class or even conversed with the teacher. You also have to consider Chinese Culture is different than America. In Asia, Asian Cultures in general tend to overly push and discipline their kids to a point of some extreme. However, in America the younger generation tend to take things differently as the culture is different in many ways. So I understand the Teachers way of teaching. You have to make the learning fun for kids. Especially with little ones because their attention span tends to drift and can only hold out for so long. If you don’t make it a little fun, and if the Teacher doesn’t adapt to each of the kid’s own individual levels, then of course they would be burnt out or not want to continue.
I have been coming here on different days and have engaged in conversation with the teacher about his goals, teachings, and philosophy. So from my experience in having met different Shaolin teachers, as a teacher, he is one of the few I know that really cares about pushing his students but within their own comfortable level. I cannot stand when a teacher lacks discipline, gets detracted easily, isn’t detailed, or over pushes you and doesn’t adapt to your bodies mechanism. I have had experiences where the teacher does push you hard, but at the same time in a reckless way, and doesn’t also know when to stop. The teacher should first get to know what level your body is, what level learning capacity you can handle, how your able to apply the technique that was taught, from your mind into hand eye coordination, and work around that. Pushing you out of your comfort zone to an extent it can handle, without causing any serious injury.
Anyway, I like this school and admire the time and dedication the teacher Yanan puts into it. Even if he has to work on his own 7days a week, I respect how far his school has come, when coming straight from another country, trying to establishing himself on his own here in America.

I’ve been coming to the school for a few months now and I really love the sense of community and family here. Once you start taking classes you get the utmost attention and you’re welcomed immediately. Starting to do something out of your normal routine is hard, and beginning something like kung fu can feel embarrassing if you’ve never done it before.
There’s none of that here. Shi Fu is very patient and encouraging, making sure you’re getting the care and knowledge you need.

This place is awesome! The moment I came through the door I felt like I was part of the family. The Shi fu is very encouraging and extremely talented. He has studied at the northern Shaolin temple for many years then taught shaolin Kung fu for half a dozen years in china before coming to the US.
The fellow classmates are very friendly and encouraging.
We get individual attention in class and the shi fu adjust his teaching to your skill level. So even if you are a beginner you won’t get left behind.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to learn authentic chinese Kung fu!

Master Guang is amazing! He has been trained in real Shaolin Kungfu at the Shaolin Temple in China. I love his kungfu. Great teacher, and his students show the results. Awesome. He really pays attention to detail. He is strict. And he has a lot of energy. This school is the real deal.

My 10 year old son has been taking classes with master Guang for 4 years now .they teach shaolin tradition martial art .and A lot weapons he learned. He loves it very much. And that place it’s very nice and sweet. Like a Kung fu family:)
