Starkids Preschool and Kindergarten

2 of my kids came here since they were 2 years old. They enjoy learning from Starkids. The principle and teachers really took good care of the kids here. My older one is now attending Kinder and he goes to Starkids Learning Center after school. My kids even learned how to do maths before Kinder. They love all their teachers and little friends. Because of the academic programs they offer here, my son is placed in a higher education group in his current class in public school. Thank you Ms Annie and everyone at Starkids.

This review is for parents who are contemplating on where to take your kid (s) for day care. This is not the right place based on my bad experience here. I thought I could put my trust into their hands, but I was so wrong. I regret taking my daughter here and I feel really bad that I didn’t do enough research beforehand. There were 0 reviews on Unilocal for this location and I am now the first to review. During the holiday potluck, I started noticing some bad signs… The toys that they had were filthy and most of them were broken but were still left out for the children to play with. I tried cleaning one of them with an anti-​bacterial wipe, but the dirt and grime wouldn’t budge. Also, on several occasions and at different times of the day the door has been unlocked. I was able to walk right in with no problems, this is frightening as we have been seeing so many school shootings on the news. Then I started noticing they were not wiping my daughter’s bottom properly, as there was feces left between her bottom and legs. The final straw was when I undressed her to bathe there was a HUGE black bruise on her leg! I contacted Starkids right away and asked what had happened to cause such a big bruise. They were so defensive and stated if I made a police report that it was my word against theirs and that they would also contact the police to report child abuse on me! I was so outraged, I pulled her out of there to never return. I have yet to be contacted for a refund on my deposit as well. Being a parent, I always want what’s best for my daughter and if you are reading this I would recommend you do more research before handing over your kid (s) over to someone to care for them.
