David C Di Lettera, DO

The Di Lettera family is absolutely first class.
Dr. David Di Lettera’s mother ran the front office. I was intrigued by a huge solid gold Virgin of Guadalupe medallion his mother always wore. I mentioned to her that I did not know that Italian people even knew who the Virgin of Guadalupe was, let alone venerated her. She told me much to my surprise that the Virgin of Guadalupe is extremely popular in Italy. That the medal she wore was her late mother’s. She went on to tell me that when her mother immigrated to the United States from the old world, as soon as she could she trekked to Mexico City to thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for bringing her safely to the New World.
This practice just closed a month ago.
I will miss the unselfish personal touch I always felt from Dr. David Di Lettera. I got the best of care, and felt he cared about me personally.

I’m terribly sad that I had to change doctors when I moved. I love Dr. Dilettera! His wonderful father, John, delivered my mother and her twin in the 60’s, and as one of the previous reviews said, David took over. Yes, they’re old school, but that’s a great thing as far as service is concerned. The staff is amazing, and Dr. Dilettera is very patient and attentive. You just can’t find doctors like this anymore!

If you are looking for a doctor, keep looking.
This practice is still stuck in the stone age. I forgot how bad they were since I changed doctors over 2 years ago, until they decided to remind me. They sent me a bill in the mail for.. . what? I dunno, it doesn’t say. When I called the person who knows about bills wasn’t there, and of course the mailing didn’t have any information on it what so ever, not even a number to reach them at, I had to looking them up on the internet in order to find them.
Besides this stupidity, they take pharmaceuticals before patients. They don’t take credit cards and the most stupid thing of all, THEY DON’T USE COMPUTERS!!! WTF? Yes I am serious (at least in 2007, but I am pretty sure they still aren’t) they don’t use any computers.
So if you are looking for a 1920’s doctor you may have found your person.
