The Shops at Montebello

I have never cared about this mall. I can say over the years, (many years) that they have made good improvements. There are not many stores I would shop in. I just happened to go to kill some time before the movies. I felt over all the mall was pretty clean.

I don’t care much for the mall. When I need something specific I will come to certain stores here. parking is usualy ok. Most stores have friendly employes. It is a ok mall. Nothing specktacular …

The only reason I’m giving this a three star is because I’ve been to much smaller & worse malls, so this is decent compared to the ones I’ve seen. Personally, I think it’s basic. All the common stores but nothing drastic. Some of the stores move around a lot or they close out & become different ones. The food court is mediocre. Nothing that I’ve had there really stands out. If you’re not kid friend, don’t go to the malls around here. It has it’s occasional pile of teens. It get pushy in there. Very pushy.

Standard mall with the usual shops. Pretty clean with lots of parking and several entrances. Kiosks with this and that.

There’s not a lot I can say about this mall, it’s very bland, does not stand out with its choice of stores, location, food, etc…
The Citadel Mall isn’t that far & it’s a far superior choice in terms of overall experience & price — seeing as how most of those stores are outlets.
Nice central cooling, well kept overall pretty nice. But not compared to the competition.
This is coming from an un-​biased opinion, I’m from the high desert & have been cruising around LA.

This malls a little out dated. Has the basic big retail chain stores (Macy’s) … A lot of stores are vacant stores so this mall is not a busy mall. Could have better places to eat at too

This is my go to mall whenever I need to go shopping. I do agree with other reviewers that there arent high end stores but my stores are Torrid and Lane Bryant so im ok with that. I like window shopping and this is the second nearest mall to me and I’ll choose it over my first nearest mall.

Eh, not your best mall around the area. If you want better stores and higher-​end bougier stuff, Santa Anita, Glendale, heck, even West Covina are better bets.
They have a JCPenney, Macy’s, Macy’s Home, Forever 21 and smaller stores to support the mall. There’s a Starbucks and a decent food court. Also, there’s chain restaurants, such as BJs, Olive Garden (outside structure), and Marie Calender’s in the mall.
Maybe since I used to work in the mall — 7 years, that I avoid it like the plague, and only go there when I really need something? But overall it’s still lacking in the stores, they need better stores. The location is great — since it’s right off the 60 either off Paramount or San Gabriel.
The building management has come in and gave the mall a facelift, cleaned up the lighting, and made it look newer. There’s ample parking — and if it’s the weekend or holidays, you can park at the Kaiser facility as well. ONLY when KP is not open though, because you can get towed. Also, there is street parking on Town Center Drive or is it Montebello Blvd? hah But it’s along the perimeter of the mall.
Also, I guess it’s no longer the Montebello Town Center — but the Shops at Montebello.

This mall could be awesome if it had good stores in it but for some reason it just doesn’t. The location is great, right off the 60 freeway and close to all the cities of San Gabriel Valley.
Inside they have remodeled and made some improvements but the stores are still the same, not that great.
I have been here on due to meeting up with friends and catching up on what I have been missing. But every time I am here, we just end up eating and then leaving. We walk around the mall but never go into the stores or buy anything from them. Which isn’t like me… I love shopping but when I am here I just never feel like doing that at all.
Parking can get hideous sometimes especially during lunch and dinner time, even on the weekdays. Sigh but what can you do when you work soo close to here this seems to be the meet up spot to go and grab something to eat.

The last time I was here, I was eight years old. Oh boy! Things sure have changed. My family and I came here to have dinner and I was impressed with how clean and nice this shopping mall is! There are a ton of stores I didn’t recognize, but most of them are specialty, which is really neat to see. The Town Center is seriously the entry into Whittier, Montebello, Rosemead, and San Gabriel so that was pretty cool. There is plenty of parking, but I can see how it can get crowded on the weekends. All in all, it was a good experience/

This used to be a cool mall, 20 years ago. Way back then they had a May Co. that had some good stuff, there food court was better, and I believe they even had a GHq and Judy’s!
The days of GHq and Judy’s are long gone, as is my fondness of this mall.
Parking is OK, just a different type of mall. Great place for locals, but not to drive out of your way for.

A nice american mall. Has free wifi on food court area. The food court selection also good, which include aloha grill, panda express and sbarro

Good place to come shopping. They have every store I would need (Forever21…JK!) and their food court is pretty decent. Overall good place to spend time, kick it, eat, and shop
