So where to start…
Let’s talk about why I even gave them stars.
There is no lie, Roger knows his stuff and does really well drilling. He’s honest with his pricing and confident with his skills. He will recommend you certain balls depending on how you roll the ball and skill level.
HOW​EVER​.be ready to go in being ignored by him completely unless you talk to him first. When I went in he looked at me and looked away and continued talking. I didn’t want to interrupt him but he just kept going on and on talking about his weekend or something. Lucky for him the guy he talked to had to leave right when I was heading for the door so i was able to ask him my question.
Now he gave me a great ball and drilling perfect as I said before. Great work.
Now the next time I come AMF is closed, but he is open. I can’t go in because his door doesn’t have a handle. He sees me and ignores me so I stand outside knocking to go in because he is clearly inside and open helping a customer but does not let me in. I stood there for 10 minutes like an idiot, so I was pissed and left to go to another bowling alley. He seriously ignores you, sees me out there, a returning customer but just let’s me out there…
Another thjng is it says to use other door but AMF opens at 5pm and he closes at 5pm… How will I be able to get my ball fixed if your closed.
Never coming back anymore, I was planning on buying more bowling balls but it’s impossible to get his attention.
In addition AMF IS RIDICULOUS their open hours are all over the place.

In October 2013 the pro shop I used to go to closed down. On recommendation from my former pro shop and other friends I decided to visit Pin Point Bowling Concepts. I was greeted by Roger and Jairo and they asked how they could help me out. I explained to them how I was never comfortable with my thumb and grip. Roger then took the time to watch me throw the ball. He gave me some tips that helped me and then we returned to the shop. He checked my pitches and recommended changes to them. He had a used ball on clearance I bought and we changed the pitches to the recommendations he made. For the first time in a long time I felt comfortable. We plugged the rest of my equipment and I returned a few days later.

Roger Kosaka’s PPBC shop is everything you’d want from a pro shop. I have been using his services since he opened his shop in Montebello and I am not alone in feeling fortunate to have someone with his bowling knowledge and experience available for every aspect of the sport. I have trusted him as my ball driller since I first became serious about the sport, and I am continually impressed with his patience and willingness to take the extra step for customer satisfaction. I can recall how Roger took the time to watch me bowl first, and then suggested a ball that was appropriate for me, a novice. I recall how carefully he examined my hand to make sure the drilling fit just right, and how he checked on me later to see that the ball was not causing any discomfort. Through Roger’s patient coaching, I have grown in my abilities, and he has helped me build an arsenal of bowling balls by carefully suggesting each new ball and lay out. He continually educates himself about the latest technologies and theories. His friendly demeanor makes it a joy to come to Roger’s shop as evidenced by the many bowlers that just come and hang-​out in his shop. I have been happy with Roger’s services and I have no doubt that you will receive the same treatment.

I first went to this shop about 5 years ago. I really like the way he took his time understanding how I rolled the ball and what I was looking for in equipment. His patience is what sold me on having him be my ball driller. I just have to tell him what I want and he home me up… thanks Roger. Just a side note… the first ball he drilled me I went 3bills.
