Everytime we get Petra through AAA we have excellent service with an excellent driver. Today we just met Miguel M who took extra time and effort to make sure my car really wasn’t able to start. He had patience and care for our situation that made us more at ease with having a non working car. Keep up the good work!

Worse towing company !

They broke into my car and stole my battery, subs, window visors and other small things. Never use their services they will go into your car! They literally pried my trunk open that was smashed in by rear end collision and took the things inside. The manager didn’t looked concerned at all like they’ve done it before and he was covering for them. The driver of the tow truck assured me that this facility was safe and under 24hr surveillance by camera so I wouldn’t take it home instead. So he pretty much baited me and took my stuff they only have one camera from what I saw and it wasn’t even pointed toward my car. I will be filing a police report.

They were great in handling a bad situation, came quick, Mr. Diaz knew exactly what needed done and did it greatly appreciate the fine service!!! Joel

Worst company to deal with they are not fast at and the guy that answers the phone is very disrespectful person trying to fight me and double charge me wouldn’t give me his name cuz he’s a straight punk anyways don’t use these ppl and I’m reporting them to AAA asap to cancel there account

Petra Towing responded to a call I placed via AAA for a jump start. They were very fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The guy who showed up checked the life of my battery and jump started the vehicle safely. I have a hybrid car so I can’t just jump started because it might damage the electronics. Since their service they followed up with a phone call to make sure I was satisfied (which I totally was). Thanks PT.

My car was out of battery so I called and 2 guys showed up within 35 minutes. They were very nice and explained in detail about the battery life and steps they took to fix it to put me at ease. I purchased the new battery from them and they installed it and now the car is working great.
I do recommend this business services.

After my fuel pump decided to go out in the middle of Friday rush hour on the the 710 South and pushing my car ¹⁄₈ mile across five lanes of traffic… I wasn’t in the greatest mood. Called AAA and they dispatched Petra. The first driver that showed up was incredibly nice and very helpful. After we discovered that my lowered cars oil pan was scraping tow truck’s lift arm, he called for a roll back rather than risking damage to my car which he could tell I cared about.
He waited there with me and even offered me a water. Chatted for a bit and the next two drivers showed up. One was training and the other obviously knew his stuff. When we found that again, my car’s front valance would hit scrape the roll back, they went and found a few 2X4’s and winched it. Strapping it down to make special care not to damage the wheel finish too. Hoped in the truck and drove me home. They were even kind enough to help me push it into my spot so I could fix it tomorrow. I wish I remembered their names because they deserve some credit for some seriously upstanding people.

After two technicians from AAA came out to check out my car the friendly Petra technician discovered I had the wrong size battery in my car. He replaced the battery without a problem. I wish I would of had a Petra technician come out the first time. He was friendly, honest and quick.

After a lovely day of shopping on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I got home. Parked. Unloaded my car… Overwhelmed with my shopping bags, cell phone, wallet an what nots, I somehow left my keys in the ignition! Mind you, it’s Sunday an I had an awesome day… :/​I called Petra’s Towing and literally had the tow guy at the driveway in 15 minutes!!! An he got the door open in a minute! Insane!!! The price was perfect being that a few places I called quoted me higher because of Sunday Funday! All in all, my experience with this towing company was great!!!

I called AAA and I received the tow service from Petra, the tow truck driver, Armando, was polite, courteous and very professional and towed us to the location I had requested without any delay despite the fact that it was Sunday. I believe Petra should recognize that they have an excellent individual working for them and he represents them very well – he deserves a raise! I will definitely give this service a big «5» when I complete my AAA customer survey. Thank you again.

Petra has to be one of the worse companys to deal with. They are rude and obnoxious. They have no honor in their work. I have a warranty with AAA. They refused to aknowledge this warranty because they thought the issue was fixable. After the «problem» was fixed the issued continued and they still refused to acknowledge the warranty. They were were working for AAA, who i have never had a any problems with. When I tried to address the issue the driver drove away.

I was broadsided in Whittier the other day, and I called AAA. They sent Petra Towing to pick up my truck. The driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Since it was after 5pm on a Saturday, I asked the driver to take me to a mechanic’s shop near my house, and hoped there was a place we could park the truck. He suggested that we just take it back to my driveway. I didn’t want to do that because then I would just have to call a tow truck again in the morning. I asked what he thought of the condition of my truck, and he said it appeared to be totaled and then suggested that he just take it back to the tow yard and for me to call my insurance company to deal with it. I followed his advice, and it definitely was the easiest option. He even helped me clean out my truck! :)

WOW!!! I think Unilocal has to change the stars starting at NO stars!!! because I just had a REALLY REALLY bad experience and I didn’t even have the service here. my dad was driving and I was in the passenger side and when we were coming onto the fwy this tow truck wouldn’t let us on. so he basically cuts us off and slows down so we had to brake. when my dad changed lanes, my dad had to brake cause of cars in front. so the tow truck guy came speeding off onto my side, and let me remind you I have a child in the backseat which he was on my side. so the tow truck guy came up and starting cursing at us while all our windows were down. I had to put the back window up cause the guy was cursing really bad and loud while driving right next to us on the fwy! if I stook my hand out I could have literally touch his truck, that’s how close he got to us. he even told my dad to exit so he can fight and just kept cursing so I told the guy to do his job and just drive and also told him, «can’t you see there is a kid in the back?» he told me to F off and was giving me hand jesters so I wrote down his license plate number and the number on the tow truck so when he seen me do that he came speeding up again and told me, «go ahead and call cause he was calling too!» he even told me his name which was JUSTIN with all kinds of tattoos.
I did call and gave my complaint but I mean these people that work for the company call themselves «professional»??! I don’t think so.
so I will be calling the top dawgs which is the Better Business Bureau.
overall this little experience I had is zero stars!

Petra’s drivers are very good at what they do. Very cool guys work out of here. I never had a bad experience or had to wait very long. I drive an old bug and do get stranded sometimes and they come right away and get you and your car home safely.
