Two good things about this place: the complimentary bread they bring you before your meal and the muffins. That’s all the good I can say. I would describe this place as a rudderless ship. The Saturday morning we were there they had people waiting for a table despite the fact that they had an entire section of tables available. When I asked the hostess why people were waiting for table if they had an entire section of empty tables she said her manager told her not to sit people there because they were short staffed! How about hiring some more people. When we finally got our table they didn’t even have a high chair for my 21 month old, then it turns out they did because the hostess didn’t even bother to check. OMG! Our server was ok, but rarely came back to check if we needed anything and I waited like 10 minutes before I got a coffee refill. Finally the breakfast selections were not even good very limited and not all that great. It’s a good thing we were there on Saturday when kids eat free. But nonetheless, we won’t be going back unless they actually hire a manager who knows how to run a decent restaurant!

Today my family and I had lunch, so I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Cutting the sandwich in half & eating the first half with no problem. I was going to remove the lettuce from the 2nd half so I open the sandwich to find a receipt in between the lettuce and the cheese. I will never go there again

Great service! Bit on pricy side but I was happy with the taste. Had the Santa fe salad with grilled hot shrimp and salad was super cold, what a good combination. Fried green beans, cheese sticks and chicken tenders were really good. Mashed potatoes were great but steak needs a lot work it was tough and dry. Of course pie to take home was a must… Never go wrong with a la mode either :)

I love Marie ’ s, but this location is a sorry excuse of a place. It deserved no stars and I would not recommend this place simply bc ir doesn’t give justice to the Franchise. The food is cold, dry, over cooked, while the desserts are flavorless. the place is like a ghost town. I came in today for a simple cookie, and they looked absolutely wretched, I walked away disappointed! !!

Want to eat breakfast before going to costco, so MC is near so why not. I don’t know if it’s a bad morning here or my bad luck or just horrible management. One waitress, restaurant almost half full. Waiting now for 40min to get food! I am ok with the wait but no smile, good morning, sorry for the wait, how’s your morning. I never write reviews but I have nothing else to do but wait! Wow got to go, food is finally here.

Horrible. The stars are because my family didn’t think it was as bad as I did. I got chicken wings and they were salty AF and cold in the center. My daughters burger meat was dry. It all looked microwaved. People were nice who worked there, but I’d rather eat at home. Save your money and hit the food court.

Bought cherry pie for my boss’s birthday. Found mold(a lot of it) on top of the fruit under the crust before we started to eat the pie(thank goodness that no one from my team took a bite before I screamed DON’T EATIT!!). So when i returned to the store, the manager apologized repeatedly and gave me my money back and a new warm pie at no charge. I still felt grossed out, so I sent in my concern on their website. I was concerned for the public’s health and safety! Within 30 minutes, the region manager called to apologize and asked me to give them another chance and that he would send me gift card to show sincere apologies… well, I got the generic apology letter with a $ 15 gift card. Wow — really? A whole $ 15? Why even bother sending me anything?

This was the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant! I went to eat breakfast/lunch with my boyfriend and another couple and as soon as we sat down we could immediately see how dirty the tables and ledges were. We were sat right by the kitchen and could see all of the servers including the manager walking in and out with not a a single bit of desire to be there. After our drink order was taken, and almost half of one of our drinks was gone, we noticed lipstick on our glass. Nobody at the table was wearing lipstick! The cup was clearly not washed and the manager brought a replacement water. The drink was supposed to be a dr. Pepper. He wasn’t concerned at all. Next, we were served mediocre cornbread and given dirty plates with old food stuck on it. Can’t get any better than that right? We let it pass and for some crazy reason decided to stay for our food, we were hungry! As they were preparing our food, my boyfriend was looking into the kitchen since our booth was facing right at the opening. The manager had the nerve to grab, WITHHISBAREHANDS, the French fries to go onto my boyfriends plate. As the Manager did this, the food runner saw my boyfriend see and still didn’t say anything to the mgr! It must have been really awkward for her when she had to walk that food to our table. we brought up our concern and all she said was, «yeah I know you saw that». This goes to show that it happens all of the time there! We were just lucky to see it happen with our own eyes! That manager should be fired for food safety! We left the restaurant and didn’t bother touching our food. Do not eat at this place!

We are visiting from out of state and wanted some comfort food. Big mistake the service is bad. It took an hour to get our meal. We saw the waitress twice in that hour. When our food came out it lacked flavor and was warm at best. We spoke to the manager and she apologized now we see the waitress every two minutes. Stars for the manager and the 80s music playing.

Probably one of the worst bakery places that I have ever went to. I would still go to Marie Callendar’s because I’ve had very good experiences with many of them. Just not this one. Both the service and food was bad, that’s why I gave it a one star. We started out with corn bread. Wait a minute, I had to go look for utensils for me and my girlfriend from another table. The weirdest tasting cornbread. It tasted like there was plastic or some chemical mixed into the cornbread. My girlfriend noticed the flavor also. Asking for water and the check took like 10 minutes each. Didn’t know why because there wasn’t that many people there. Ordered the blueberry pie a la mode. Me and my girlfriend were looking for the blueberries. They were very generous with the blue sauce and whip cream. Never going to this Marie Callendar’s again.

One word… YUCKANDDISGUSTIN place. This place looks like that one Knotts Berry Farm old fried chicken old restaurant. My mom, my niece were starving and this place had a 10 minute wait. We were seated, I had to get up pull a Mariah Carrey and demand for drinks. So whatever I told them to shub their cornbread that were out. This place is horrible. Looks like a cafeteria for the convalescent home. :(

Just BAD. Stopped in to use the restroom. Mistake. Womens restroom was very dirty. Large trash can in restroom proving that they do not attend to it often. Nasty female patrons on their cycle, us ladies know what I mean, yuck! As I Waited for my boyfriend to leave the mens restroom standing by the back door, I noticed the decorative awnings in the restaurant were noticeably filthy with LAYERS of crud. The decorative vase with fake silk flowers was beaten and plucked to a pulp… covered in dust. The restaurant(and entire mall) had 99% Hispanic patrons there also. Being non-hispanic but of an ethnic background… I prefer to eat at more diverse eatires. Glad we stopped in and left quickly. I will never eat at this Marie Calendars based on the lack of cleanliness and overall depressed environment.

Stopped of here to have breakfast with the kid. I haven’t been here in a really long time. The bathrooms could still use some cleaning up to start with. We were not able to sit where I wanted because it was to early as we got there when they opened and there were not enough servers so we had to sit in the lil area that was only open. I got our order in about 20 min later. Our server didn’t seem quite happy to be there and therefore it affected her job as she never came back to see if we needed anything else or refills on coffee and juice. She was at the table twice. Once for the order and once to leave the check. Someone else actually brought the food out to the table. Needless to say yeah maybe that’s why I had not been here in such a long time. Literally years and probably wont be back again either. Food was just ok as well. I Had quiche and it was a bit under cooked but didn’t want to really bother at this point after being disappointed so most of our food was left behind as we left the resturant …

Came with my hubby and my two toddlers. It started with our hostess Alondra asking«hi are you here to eat?»… No lady, i just want to stand here at the entrance smh. We sat down at 1:23 pm. My hubby and i wanted something simple and settled for some sandwiches. I ordered mac n cheese and a cup of soup for my kids and they came out pretty fast. However, come 2 o clock, nothing. Everyone who got here after us had gotten served and already almost done. I finally said something and within a few minutes we got our food. Our server shawn was nice enough to offer us some free pies cuz he acknowledged our order took too long. We waited 35 – 40 minutes for some sandwiches and fries, on a early wednesday afternoon. Not cool. You let me down today montebello, i will stick to monterey park.

This is one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had at a Marie Callendars. Pot pie with watery gravy?! Are you kidding me? Marie Callendars Cheese burger served cold? Not even hot! Servers… hmmm… sat down and no one comes up to get our drink order. Saw a few other tables looking around for the waitress/waiters.

I never ate at this location but I do love the pies! I usually try to buy them when they have the any pie for $ 7.99 deal. Strawberry Pie — My favorite pie they have here. Fresh strawberrys with a strawberry glaze on top of a Gram Cracker crust. So simple but so good! Kahlua Cream Cheese — My go to pie for parties. Has a good balance of cream and chocolate flavor. Very creamy and smooth. Chocolate crust works perfect with it. Lemon Meringue, French Apple, and Pumpkin pies are all great and taste exactly like you want them too. Never disappointed with the classic pies they have here. Order online for Thanksgiving and you can pick up at the store with a limited wait.

My family and I stood at the entrance for 3 minutes, which was fine if someone said to give them a sec. BUT no. We had to find a waitress to tell them we were ready to be seated. I ordered their hyped bbq combo(the waitresses were advertising it on the back of their shirts so it must be good right?). Pick two bbq items and two sides for $ 15.99. A little pricey but reasonable if the food was good or if the portion was right. I chose the bbq tri-tip, bbq shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, and ham and cheese macaroni. The mashed potatoes was the best part of my meal. The tri-tip had mostly fat on it, and there was not enough sauce to go with it. I chose their new strawberry lemonade cake pie to go with my meal. I love sweets, but the cake seemed soggy. I would’ve given this place one star instead of two if it weren’t for its location in the mall and the waitress that wasn’t being mean.
