Jack In The Box

I have patronized this Jack in the Box for at least 10 years and have had a number of good experiences, which is why I drive the extra 6 blocks or so to get their food. Today, however, I was expecting another pleasant experience because I had received a ‘million burger giveaway’ coupon. When I tried to use it, however, I was told they would not honor it because it was ‘corporate’ and they were ‘franchise’; this really pissed me off but there was no sympathy or further explanation, so I left. When I tried to complain online I don’t believe my email attempts ever got through, probably because their system didn’t seem to recognize the existence of this Jack in the Box (maybe more of the ‘franchise’ b.s.). So, i’m in the mood to take revenge on ol’ Jack and it might be fun because my family and I (the Stewart family Trust) are stockholders and I have the time, money and inclination to split away from my vacation for a few hours to visit the corporate HQ. Yes, I am t h a t annoyed.

I usually don’t write reviews for fast food. I don’t expect much, it’s fast food after all. However, this place gets my order wrong EVERY TIME I go. I just want to get what I ordered and paid for. Mind you, it’s not a special order either. Orders take forever… I’m the only one at the drive thru and it still takes over 10 minutes. Not much else to say except don’t go here.

Very slow service. Ordered a jack’s spicy chicken combo and it took over 15 minutes for my order.

I wish there was a 0 star option. This place is sincerely crap!!! The employee was so rude. I will never come back here, I even called the 1 – 800 number and nothing was done. I’m not asking for free stuff all I wanted was some respect as a customer. I waited in the drive-​thru line for 10 min because the employee was too busy socializing with the customer ahead of me and when I pull up she tells me that they’re closed, seriously? You make me wait to tell me that you’re closed. Then why were you standing there socializing for 10 min? Ugh NEVER again.

well they took forever to even acknowledge me. Waited for about 10 minutes just to have my order taken and its wasn’t even busy. Only 2 customers including my self. I should of gone to el pollo loco instead..

This is the worse place to eat. That guy David that is in the drive through is so rude. I am calling his corporate office. The burgers seems like they have been out in the open for days and their fries are cold. This place should be closed down.

Hazelnut coffee yum, came while I waited for my mom at the dentist. Got a little side salad and they gave me extra croutons idk if by accident but hey I’ll take it ;)

the most worst place ever !!! Bad customer service !!! I love my jacks but this location is by far the worst I ever been to. Their foods is horribly done !! Cmon its not hard to make a burger even a baby can make it better… never again

Went inside this jack in the box for the first time and the place is pretty dirty. There was taco sauce on one of the Jacks posters all the way to the ceiling. There was a tray with food, you could tell the girls there care more about being social than customer service or taking care of there establishment. Yes I get it, it’s fast food but I’ve seen better establishments. I waited at the register for a few minutes no smile no greeting, horrible customer service skills. Drive thru is «OKAY» but dining in you might want to take your hunger elsewhere

When I got to the counter I was checking out the menu and noticed they were busy but I was not acknowledged until about 5 minutes of waiting and even then they told me I still had to wait that they will be there in a bit. A bit turned into 3 more minutes. Finally, my order was taken so I took my seat and my order was called. I ordered a cheeseburger kids meal and was disappointed. My meat was somehow dry but pink in the middle and my fries tasted old. sad to say, I did not like my experience. I know it’s fast food but I at least expect to be acknowledged and my food to not be burnt.

Close to home and ok when I want some ice cold tea on the road …

I was there at 8:30 at night on a Sunday. I was on a 30 minute meal break from work. I stood there for over 10 minutes and no one even took my order. I know what everyone would say. «Did they know that you were there?» The answer is yes. I ended up leaving without anything in search of food. The service is horrible. This location is very dirty as well. The drink station is always covered in spilled soda and trash.

2 regular tacos for $ 1.07
Nothing beats 4 tacos for about $ 2 when it is late, you are hungry and coming home from work.
The regular tacos taste good too.

It’s you average fast food restaurant. They have never gotten my order wrong. Food comes out quick and hot. No complaints here. It’s normally clean, maybe a few crumbs on some tables, but for the most part clean.

Why, oh why? Whiners! Stop imposing such high standards for service at a 1) Fast food joint, 2) Montebello dining establishment. This is Jack in the Box, people… in Montebello of all places!
I have no complaints about service. I went through the Drive Thru and the girl was kind and courteous, professional even.
Payment was quick and food was delivered within 3 minutes. Before I drove off, she said «Thank you for coming to Jack in the Box, please come back again soon… have a good night!»
I ordered an Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich Combo with Orange Juice and Hash Browns. The sandwich included eggs, bacon, ham, and cheese.
My hash browns were hot and cooked perfectly. The sandwich temperature was hot. Taste was okay but was super salty. This was quite possibly the saltiest UBS I have ever had! Also, I had a small piece of eggshell nested inside the sandwich.
On a different note, but regarding the UBS, Jack shrank the size of this breakfast sandwich over the last few years. They used to be pretty big, like the size of the Sirloin burger, but not as tall. You’re slacking, Jack!

I know, I know…“You went to JaCk N’ ThE CracK (aka Jack and The Box)?!” Well, honestly, Montebello has nothing really good within the Beverly Blvd. area and Montebello Blvd. :O.
The remodeling of the location is was made me give this place another star on my rating for a total of 2 starts. The quality of food, compared other Jack’s that I have seen, was not very good. My friend had asked for a buttermilk ranch dressing and they were going to charge him. However, since I did not want the mayonnaise or bacon on my sandwich, they gave it to him for free. Thus, the service was okay, but I asked the young lady helping us if I may get a lot of ketchup and she only gave me 5 packets. I love ketchup! So then my friend kindly went and he brought me about 5 more packets and the lady knew it was for me, which made me laugh. Ketchup made everything more enjoyable. Thanks HEINZ!
What can you say, it’s a fast food joint ;). They serve KONA COFFEE which is pretty awesome and their mango iced tea is pretty good :).You must be in the mood for this hehe. The curly fries were really good though. I heard that they have changed their fries and are not very good anymore.

Eventhough they renivated the inside a while back, and seemed to have expanded their menu the location is terrible especially for drive thru customers because it leads you west on Beverly and you have no choice but to make a right. There is a busy intersection there and therefore always cars speeding past not letting you through. It seems every time I go they are out of fries altogether, or sauces, or the soda/​ice dispensor is broken. As for the food it is typical everyday Jack. Scarce parking and seating make me not come here often when I’m craving something particular. The only thing that makes up for it is that they keep the place relatively clean, and the staff is always very curteous.

Jack has significantly improved their food quality and menu.
What you’ll like:
$$$- The new BBQ Bacon Burger. Way overpriced but very good. Wait for a coupon.
$$ — Breakfast steak burrito w/​Chipotle. I would order this without the sauce. I think the sauce is a little too strong. They stuff enough egg and steak in this puppy where you won’t be hungry until dinner.
$$ — Chicken Fajita. If you want to feel like you ate healthy, this is what you want to get.
$- Jumbo Jack, 2 tacos… value menu is reasonable. I think Wendy’s has the best out there.
This restaurant is located on a high traffic street, so it can be difficult to get in or out sometimes.
Overall, nice place to get a late night snack or a decent breakfast. This particular location needs to clean up their tables. Just feels nasty sitting in there. Just do drive through.
